Sir, my samsung scx4521 is not copy properly.the copy of document is black even the lid is covered properly?kindly help my soon as possible

I checked printer lid. checked toner. the printer is printing documents properly through computer but not coping properly. it it copy a few part of page and print whole page black. it might be scaner problem. kindly help me to ridout of this problem i am to much worried about it. waiting for your reply. First think test toner cartridge
If print ok okay from computer may think problem on cc'd unit / exposer / copy lamp/ scanner (all are same unit)

Have you tried a different print cartridge? Usually a black page from a laser printer is caused by the drum in the cartridge not recieving the correct voltage. Try borrowing one from someone if you don't have another to try.

Make sure by checking if your lamp scanner light when your doing a copy ??? This look like a scanner problem !

Make sure to that your glass is clean !

Yes it start giving the warnings if it still have the ink just to make sure you get the new cartridges well before it gets completely dried

How to scan into my computer

Hello, I am happy to help you with your question. Samsung SCX-4200 supplies software calls Samsung Smarthru. This software application includes a scan command. The software is locagted on the CD that accompanied the printer.

Here are some excerpts from the manual:

Your machine offers the following ways to scan an image:

• From TWAIN-compliant software: You can use other

software including Adobe Photoshop Deluxe and Adobe

Photoshop.

• From the Windows images Acquisition (WIA) driver: Your

machine supports the WIA driver for scanning images.

• From the Samsung SmarThru software: Launch Samsung

SmarThru and open Scan To to begin scanning.

NOTE: To scan with your machine, you must install the
software.


Loading document

You can use the document glass to load an original document

for copying and scanning.

1 Lift and open the document cover.

2 Place the document face down on the document glass

and align it with the registration guide at the top left

corner of the glass.

3 Close the document cover. Be careful not to move the

document.

NOTES:

• Leaving the document cover open while copying may affect

copy quality and toner consumption.


So, basically, if you have the software installed. Open the Smarthru software, load your original onto the glass, face down, and close the lid. Select scan, the software may provide you with a preview of the scanned image. Once you scan the document, you must save it to a location on your hard drive, often it is called "My Scans" in your "my documents" file.

Faxing

How to clear the "Check Original " error message? Description: This error can occur if the document being sent or copied is not inserted properly, fed incorrectly or is too long. Follow the troubleshooting steps and recommendations listed below:
  1. Remove any paper that is not jammed from the ADF.
  2. Open the top cover by lifting the lever on the right side of the top cover.
  3. Pull the original toward the front of your fax machine.
  4. Close the top cover. Press down on both sides of the top cover until it clicks.
jam06.gifBefore placing the document(s) in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), verify the error message "CHECK ORIGINAL" no longer is displayed on the LCD. If the error message continues to appear on the display, unplug the unit for 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

My Breadman Pro Bread Maker has cracks in the plastic window in the lid. Is it possible to replace just the lid?

yes it is possible but it will still work even with a cracked lid if you just place a small dish like a teacup saucer on that cover the plastic lid or something like that prevents heat from escaping...all lids that I have seen are vented any way to allow heat and moisture to escape.

When printing dark line down copy

A line down the copy can come from a dirty document scanner lens.
Usually white out or wet ink will smudge on the document scanner. Opening the document cover check the scanner for a dirty glass. Some document feeders have the white roller on top of the small glass window. They have delicate plastice retainers that hold the roller on both ends. Extra care needs to be taken if this roller is removed.
Clean the roller and the glass with wet towel. Shine a flashlight on the glass to see if there are anymore black marks on it.
Use the finger-nail to run across the glass and make sure no debris is on it. Even a spot can make a line on the copy.
Also, a bad fuser roll can cause a black line on the copy. A defective drum unit can cause a line on the copy as well.
If all else fails place a Xerox service call for this problem.

Wide black line down page

open the document lid. Check to see if there is white-out on the glass platen where the document rides across the scanner. Some units require the white roll to be taken off.
sometimes a black mark on this platen can leave black streaks on copies made on this machine, and even when they send to others.
Try to clean the platen glass.

HP Deskjet F4180 colour lights flashing and printer offline

Hi I have exactly the same problem, and can't scan or make copies. I went to HP Online, and tried their advice, which didn't work. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00867129&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3177566&rule=25623〈=enHP's solution made me realise it might be a scanner problem. I made a wild guess and kept the cover above the glass panel open. Turn off your printer, lift the cover up and turn on again. The lights should stop blinking and you should be able to scan/copy/print. I guess the cover prohibits the device to scan properly causing the blinking lights. Hope this helps!

Vertical black line in scan document not in copies through document feeder

Lift the lid and to the left of the main glass is a smaller glass; that is what scans during the feeding process. Make sure that it is completely clean; even a speck of dust can cause a line to appear. I took a lens wipe and cleaned mine and my line was gone.

Error message

You may check wether one of the sensors from the paper path is not blocked or broken! if everything looks fine and there is no paper inside it might be a more seroius problem! no reset button for this kind of proiblem!
