As it's new the only thing I can think of is you may have accidentally put the batteries in wrong. If not, take it back as its defective.

SOURCE: cd player

First of all, you aren't going to like this solution because it's the truth. If you rate me poorly, it's because you don't understand the truth. The optical pickup is bad and needs to be replaced. Anything made by Xtreme sound is poorly built. Yes, you're lucky to have even gotten four months use out of it. I've seen some that only last for two months and they die. Fortunately, that's why you didn't pay that much for it. I would suggest getting a Pioneer in the future.

SOURCE: Replaced radio with one from same model year. Displays Err 01.

this generally means the laser is either dirty or the cd player is shot, err 01 is a disc reading problem. Try cleaning lens with cleaning disc first if this does not help i would replace the unit with another. i would recommend replacing it with a cheap aftermarket stereo.

SOURCE: I bought a used 2003 Jetta for my daughter with

I have come to find out that in the 90's auto makers started installing factory amplifiers in their cars so they could use low wattage stereos in the dash. It's usually a blue wire off the stereo that runs the amp, maybe it couldve become disconnected? I also know that even if you put in an after market stereo, this wire must be hooked up or you'll get no sound from the speakers. hope this helps.

SOURCE: resetting radio code

You need to be very careful Each failed attempt causes a long delay before you can enter it again. Follow the instructions exactly. You may need to use the car for a day or more before attempting it again if you failed too many times. The radio should say CODE not ERROR. Error means no code can be entered now. You must wait until the radio displays CODE.

How do I change my cd clock radio to AM

probably doesnt have AM option. You have high quality CD sound and high quality FM sound, they don't let you have bad quality AM. Having said that it does.

LISTENING TO THE AM/FM RADIO 1.
Press the ALM OFF/SOURCE button to select the FM or AM mode.
2.
Press the
?
/MIN button or
?
/HR button step by step to tune to the desired radio stations.
3.
Press and hold the
?
/MIN button or
?
next radio station in the direction of the search. The search operation simply finds stations with
strong signals. Stations with weak reception can only be tuned in manually

The remote for my radio/cd player won't work any longAny suggestions? The model is: jWIN JXCD3250 Classic Style CD/AM/FM

Remove the batteries, clean the battery terminals with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips and replace the batteries with new ones, if no! I would suggest you have someone look at it, usually find bad solder connections that need touch up.
