My action replay ds leaves the start screen but then just goes white even before it reaches the main menu.i tried blowing on it it and it still does the same thing

Hello dijanilaplac,

There can be many problems with your Action Replay DS. Try taking the Action Replay out of your Nintendo DS Lite Console, and look at the part those goes into the DS. Make sure nothing is bent, or missing. If something is, it might mean you may have to have it repaired, or replaced. Also keep in mind that sometimes Action Replays can be sensetive, so don't move it around while playing, or it may cause your DS to freeze up.

If you just bought this Action Replay recently, it should have been supplied with a CD to insert into your computer. You should install Action Replay onto your computer. When you have been brought to the main Action Replay Code Manager, find your USB and Action Replay plug in. Plug the small end into the top of the Action Replay cartridge, and the USB into the computer. Now a New Hardware wizard should have popped up on your computer.

When prompt, select, "Install from specific location.", then click next. Then select Search from CD-ROM. Sometimes it may sound different, just select the one that says something about searching from a CD-ROM. After this has completed, reset your Action Replay.

If the problem persists, feel free to contact me, for questions, or replies.
Nate,

It says datel then gose white

This is a very common problem with the Action Replay DSi. It is fixable, but you will need to reset your Action Replay. To do this plug it in to your computer and open the code manager software. Then click the action replay symbol in the top right hand side of the screen( it is the thing with the 4 circles). Then click about action replay DSi. A new windows should pop up. Click on reset Action Replay DSi. When it is reset, add the codes you want, or just click quick update. I have a video on how to do this posted on my website; www.shmoogle4u.webs.com
Hope I helped. For more info, my email is [email protected] or [email protected]

My Animal Crossing Wild World game is in good condition and everything works fine except when I try to use it with either code breaker, or action replay it does not work. These things seem like they dont...

Ive got an action replay and the same thing happens. Its just because the action replay or code breaker isnt the right type for the game. This plug thing should have come with it which you plug into your computer and then delete all the waste in it which is also a cause for it not to work but for now i wouldnt use it if i were you.

Action replay awesome thats what you think

The wire may be defective and the action replay might have a problem reading where the point of input is for your computer. Another possible issue is that your computer is not on file sharing and USB approved. (Meaning it wont let anything connect to it.)

My ds wont accept the ards. My other ards wont put any new games in the bottom screen it goes blue and red?My computer (windows vista)doesnt accept my ards

Your Action Replay DS hardware may require resetting if you are experiencing any of the following problems: * Code Manager PC software is reporting that Action Replay DS does not contain enough free space when it actually contains no codes. * Code Manager PC software is reporting the console`s battery is low when it?s actually fully charged. * Multicoloured bars are shown on the screen after you confirm the entry of a game ID when trying to manually enter codes. * You can use the Code Manager PC software without any problems until the Action Replay DS is connected via USB set to the update mode on the console, at which point Windows shows a run time error. If you are experiencing any of these problems, please follow the steps below to reset the Action Replay DS hardware. Please beware that resetting the Action Replay DS hardware will not restore a default codelist, and any codes which are stored on the Action Replay DS will be erased. With your console powered off insert the Action Replay DS Hold down buttons A+B Turn your console on With A+B still held down, as soon as you see the Action Replay DS license screen press and hold down buttons START+SELECT so that you now have 4 buttons held down Hold all 4 buttons down for around 10 seconds until the Action Replay DS loads to it`s home screen If Action Replay DS doesn?t hold on the license screen for around 10 seconds when you do this, you may need to turn off and try again whats an ard? from code junkies

Action replay when i plug in my ds and load code manager it says waiting for ds even though it is plugged in

IF you are running Vista 64, the issue is the driver on the disk is incompatible, thus the pc will never see the ds. However, I have found a workaround. First make sure the DS is on and plugged in and the Action replay Manager is launched. On the DS click on the mouse so it should read updating software. Then, go into device Manager via the Control Panel, there you will see NDS and an exclamation mark. Right click and choose to update the driver or properties. Then choose Browse My computer for driver software... then let me pick from a list... then fo the manufacturer shoose: Standard USB Host Controller and for the Model choose Unknown. It will pick it up instantlly. Voila.. Good Luck! and what a pain!! V
