Ezset electronic keypad deadbolt: how do you turn off Auto Lock? I have followed directions in manual and it keeps auto locking on me.

The imei code is valid no one has changed it.

Problem fixed by having my wife look it up on the Schlage website. The deadbolt has a flash memory so your combinations and codes will not be lost when the batteries are changed.

hello there:
you will need to dissasemble the deadbolt there is a plastic piece that wears out over time and once this wears out it wont work right probably best just to replace the deadbolt (sorry)

There's actually no way to do that. The phone automatically locks once a call comes in. I am also a user of this phone and tried to search for this answer myself, but, unfortunately, there really is no way to turn it off.

I have included a link to the installation instructions for the Kwikset 909 lock. I think that if you go through the installation instruction routine carefully, you will solve your problem. Pay particular attention to Step 8, the synchronization routine.

Schlage BE365 - How do I remove the key? It will lock/unlock door but cannot be removed from lock.
Recommend resetting the lock back to factory settings and try reprogramming. Also if you don't hold the latch while turning the key to lock/unlock the door it may not be recognizing the keys inserted and this will keep the key in place. Try that before resetting to factory just make sure you hold latch and turn key until it wont turn anymore.

Does my Schlage BE365-CAM BE365CAM505 have a feature that allows it to automatically lock the deadbolt without having to enter code and turn the dial?
Sort of. The lock has what is called the "turnlock" feature. When enabled, you have to only push the Schlage button, then manually turn the dial. When disabled, you have to enter the user code, then turn the dial.

To enable/disable this feature, enter your Programming Code--press the Schlage button--Press 7.

Each time you do this, you toggle between enabled and disabled.

Do you know how to reprogram digital code?? kwikset 907 lock
1) Remove back cover (instructions usually are stuck on the inside of the back plate cover .. if not continue next ...
2) Make sure all batteries are fully secured.
3) Press the square Reprogram button
4) Press the keypads of your code. If you do not hear any sound when pressing the buttons, then it means your batteries are not fully secured.
5) After entering your code, press the middle keypad (lock) once.
6) To double check things are working right, then press the keypad buttons again and then when you see the deadbolt is unlocked, then press the middle keypad (lock) again to ensure the deadbolt comes out to lock.

Recommend periodic lubrication of the deadbolt lock for less strain on the batteries ,,, and lubricate the key lock occasionally as well.

I'd recommend changing the 4 alkaline AA batteries at the same time.

Our powerbolt does not work well in the cold. It appears as if the batteries no matter how fresh, are not strong enough to turn the bolt. I thought I had seen a new model where the keypad simply unlocked...
Batteries, when they are cold, do not give off the same amount of power. You can test this by putting them in a freezer for a few hours and then trying them in a battery operated device. They cold does not hurt them, and they will work fine once they warm up. Depending on how cold the batteries get for your deadbolt this could be the problem. Also if the deadbolt is rubbing at all against the lock plate it could put unnecessary pressure on the motor. Schlage does make a deadbolt system that uses a keypad and a manual turn. The Camelot or Plymouth models.

How do I reset the code? I just moved into a house that has one but no instruction manual.
On the inside under the back plate you will find a button on the bottom left. Press button once enter you code 4-8 digits. Then press lock. Re-enter the code. If it unlocks you code is entered. This unite can keep two codes. To set the second code hit the back program button twice and follow the above directions. Also not the key lock is a Smartkey sysyem so you can change the key also.
