Blue led light lit solid and yellow led light flashes is an initial attempt of the set to re-light the lamp.Red led flashes and yellow led light solid means that the lamp won't light up that's why it only has sound without the picture. Since you've replaced the lamp twice and still the symptoms persist, I suspected that the fault came from the ballast board and not on the lamp itself. If the ballast board gone to malfunction, there's no high voltage will produce to light up the lamp and will sensed by the processor and trigger the error code (Flashes/solid led light with color code).
To verify whether the ballast board is faulty or not, check if the lamp will lit by looking through the lamp door louvers at the rear of the cabinet upon turning on the set. Please let me know what you will find to assist you further.
The "LAMP" LED light indication still light up,after all the other LED lights indications turn off?The tv projection lamp is dead.Require a new tv projection lamp.
jtoddweaver, Check out some YOUTUBE videos of lcd monitor disassembly and lcd monitor repair so you will know what you are looking for that is bad on your unit's "switch-mode-power-supply" printed circuit board. If you do the repair to the board, please document your "tear-down" with video or digital still pictures so you can complain to OLEVIA about poor quality capacitors they installed on power supply and also aid in the reassembly process. Do some reading in the fixya profiles of "budmrtn" "buddymc" "12fixlouie" and follow links you find there. Bye for now 12fixlouie
look in the back, see if the lamp is actually lit. If it is probably not a tv problem. If you can pull up the menu then you probably are on the wrong input. Are the fans running when you turn it on? IF fans are running might be lamp, if nothing is seen through the back.
I'll tell you what I tran into and how it got resolved...
I experienced the same problem , with the blinking light...
Purchased a replacement lamp..
It didn't work(After market Universal supposably)..
Well..Come to find out.The Replacement lamp's housing looks similar, but the connecters that come out the back of the housing weren't quite long enough to trigger the microbe that activates the lamp in the Television.
Luckily I had the original lamp and it's housing that came with the television..
Took the bulb out of the new replacement lamp
Placed it in the original housing , and BINGO..It worked and is still working...
