Hi. i have a JVC 55" smart tv. but it does not want to play DSTV NOW. says uncirtified device. any apk's or a solution?

There is a rather 'round about' way of doing it and it starts with your computer!

Installing Apps using APK Installer on my Sinotec TV Home screen

• Open your browser on your computer, find the APK file you want to download, and select it.

Contact JVC in your country for support.

Its quite unfortunate that the AIM smart tv cannot download and run the DSTV now from the app store on its own.
I think the easiest solution is to get an Android box for it and enjoy your favourite shows on DSTV. Or better yet contact customer support for the AIM tv and report this issue.

After a long time trying to make this work I finally found a solution yesterday. and it was so simple I almost kicked myself. Now i'm enjoying DSTV on my JVC TV. and the Answer is KODI. find an add on from SLYGUY. you still need to have a subscription.

Because you have rooted your TV or your TV comes rooted. Some app makers make their app not to run on rooted devices.

You can try unroot the TV or look for older or modified app version that runs fine with root.

It is also possible to hide root detection, but i do not recommend messing with the TV.

First be sure that it connected in the internet and search playtore in Google to get apk file for playstore
