SOURCE: Tork Time Switch runs in reverse direction

On my Tork 1101, the off switch was sticking and stopped the motor which then ran in reverse. Turning the power to it off and on will get it running the right way. Cleaning and lubricating the off switch might stop the sticking.

There is a brass bridge that connects Pole L and Pole 1 >> if this is missing, put a jumper wire that connects both Poles

SOURCE: I have a tork 1101

This is for 120 volts ONLY. The incoming "main" black wire from the circuit breaker or source connects to terminal 1. Leave the bridge in place between L and 1. The outgoing black wire to the load connects to terminal 2. Both white wires connect to x.

I have a Tork 1101. Please advise how to set the OFF time.

Tork 1101 is 24-hour 120Volt mechanical dial timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/Tork-timers-and-manuals.html#1101

ON-OFF trippers are placed on outer edge of dial to set on-off times.
These tripper click on-off lever back and forth.
Trippers wear out since they are intentionally made of softer metal than on-off lever

I have a Tork 1101 timer. The dial is loose. Do I need another timer? Or do I need just a new dial?

I had the same problem. The dial is held onto the brass spindle piece with adhesive from the factory. The glue had worn out so the brass spindle (which is attached to the larger gear) would turn with the timer but the dial was not attached =/

I used some super glue to glue the dial back to brass spindle and it's working again =)

This was for a Tork 1100 series mechanical timer.
