Causes
• Loose connection of the pressure roller thermistor • Loose connection between the fusing unit and main frame
Remedy
1. Check if the fusing unit is properly set and connected to the main frame. 2. Check if the pressure roller thermistor connector is firmly connected. 3. Replace the fusing unit.

This is an overheat problem and will most likely come back. you can press CLEAR-1-0-7-STOP buttons in sequence holding down the stop button when you get to it. You should see a service screen come up if you do this correctly. Go into the first button (i think it says copy). you should now see a list of buttons1 through 9 usually. look in the 5 & 7 buttons. You are looking for something that says FUSING RESET or it may say SC RESET.push that button and reboot the machine. If that doesn't work check ebay for a new fuser.. It will run you $125-$150 there verses $250 from a dealer.
