SOURCE: washer Bosch Classixx 6 1200

You need to press 2 buttons simultaneously for 3 to 7 seconds. Look for a small child's face or a lock icon (Sometimes both) on the Facial panel, there will be arrows pointing from that icon towards 2 buttons, these are the 2 you need to press.

Hope it helps

SOURCE: Hello I have a Bosch dishwasher model no:

Hello Zub,

It's most likely a fault with the control module or the drain pump. Please follow these instructions to detemine the likely cause of the fault and, therefore, what to do next:

1. Turn the programme selector to any wash cycle but don't press start.
2. Open the door and pull out the lower rack
3. If the washer is dry, pour roughly a pint of water into the sump in the bottom of the washer
4. Locate the float (the mushroom) and lift it . . .

belectric_178.jpg
When the float is fully lifted (about 3/4 of an inch) the drain pump should start and drain any water from the washer. This activates the anti-flood safety feature and the pump should continue to run as long as the float is lifted. The power supply to the drain pump bypasses the controller so this is the best way to determine if the drain pump is faulty.

If the water drains when you lift the float . . .

The drain pump is working but it's not receiving the signal to start from the controller during a wash cycle. It may be a wiring problem, but more likely that your control module will likely need to be repaired or replaced. These cost about £100 - if you replace it yourself.

If you can hear the pump humming but water does not drain when you lift the float . . .

There may be a blockage somewhere or the pump impeller may have jammed or broken away from the driveshaft. Try lifting and dropping the float rapidly about 10-20 times. Repeated stop/start signals to the pump motor can free a stuck impeller.

If nothing happens when you lift the float . . .

There is either no power to the pump motor or, more likely, the pump motor has failed. You will need to test the motor to determine whether or not it needs to be replaced. You will need a Torx T20 screwdriver or screwdriver bit to remove the kickplate under the door and an ohm / multi-meter to test the motor.

The drain pump motor should give a resistance reading of between 110 and 260 ohms across the live/hot and neutral/common terminals if the motor is good. In most cases, the reading is about 160-170 ohms.

I'd suggest testing the drain pump using the float as detailed above, then let me know the results. I'm happy to provide further assistance once the likely cause of the fault has been determined.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

SOURCE: Bosch excell 7 varioperfect washing machine will not programme, the key flashes on the display

Dont worry your machine is ok
the flashing key means your child lock is on, and has to be disengaged

What you need to do is press and hold the on/off button for approx 5 seconds This should turn the lock off.

I hope this was useful.

Hi, There's a key symbol in the display and it beeps, won't allow you to start a cycle. Regards, BG

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

I'll start by saying your post indicates it is a Bosch, however if you could post the complete model number I can speak directly about possible remedies instead of generalizing.

I can tell you it means "child lock" has been activated. To reset it on many Bosch it is as follows...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly and a short testimony is also appreciated.

Thank you for choosing FixYa. I'll need to watch for your reply if that doesn't work or before moving forward.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Error code F16

F16 on a Bosch indicates the door is open / unlocked.
If it's happening during a wash it would suggest either a faulty door lock, faulty wiring or worse, a faulty main control board.

The wash programme should halt when this comes up but you should be able to restart it when the door is closed.

As the cost of a new door interlock isn't overly expensive I would suggest fitting a new lock on a "fit and see what happens" basis.

No water coming into machine. Programme not running because the machine is still trying to fill. If I add water the machine does drain. Was cleaned with a good dishwasher cleaner only last week. Nothing to...

Turns out that the dishwasher had a leak in the bottom. No water could be seen leaking out because Bosch machines have a cut-off valve that means if a tray in the bottom of the machine fills up with water, the float valve doesn't allow anymore water into the machine. we worked this out after we tipped the machine slightly, water ran out, when we put it back down and started it the inlet valve worked until the bottom had filled with water again.

New machine for us! However, not a critism of Bosch. We use our machine at least two or three times a day and have done for the last 5 years.

Whirlpool ADG 957. Light for rinse programme on but start light flashing intermittently. Cannot change programme, cannot start machine.

Mine was doing exactly the same. I turned off power, held down the 2 black buttons on right, switched back on and the start button flashes intermittently. It then allowed me to change programs, just testing it now!! It started, this was more then it was doing!! lol
