Some people say cut off or jump the mod regulator on the circuit board. It would be better to get the specs on the circuit and using a small to screw driver (with power off) to turn it up counter clockwise all the way. It is factory set at 50 to 90% modulation. I would not turn it up all the way unless the radio has a mic power output adjustment on the panel. This way if you go "over mod" you can cut back the power. Many "S" meters will also show modulation so you can see if it is too high (into the red). Check for response to modulation before starting to see if it reads modulation. Afterwords to check, key the mic without making any sounds and see where the meter sits. Then whistle into the mic to see the meter moves up. If nothing happens it could be: 1) the "S" meter does not show modulation, or 2) you turned the adjustment in the wrong direction. If no one answers your calls it would be #2.

Need more info, when does it cut out? If its cutting out when braking then youre idle screw will need to be turned clockwise a touch as this will prevent carb from closing and cutting engine.

Theres a idle screw located on engine under airfilter, should be small flat head. Clockwise will stop the carb from closing thus not cutting engine of. Also make sure you run car slightly richer than leaner. Hope this helps.

Hi I am Vortash This sound like the thermostat cut out switch and if it is glowing hot then you have a serious DANGEROUS fault
it means that it is not disconnecting as it should and has shorted ot .. please get it changed immdeatly as it may short to the oven body causing it to become live .. now that should mean that the house fuse should blow .. but on the slight chance it don't you would be electrocuted if you touched the oven please call a domestic service engineer now Regards Vortash

this is probably the thermal cut-out causing the problem. not sure where it is located but possibly on the roof of the oven or in the rear casing near the fan. however, the cause may be lack of ventilation to the unit as a whole
