SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt Electric dryer tumbling but not

Unplug the dryer first. Then remove the back cover on the dryer. You will find the red reset button underneath the dryer drum. If the button has been tripped, you will feel and hear it click when you press it in. I would suggest that you vacuum out any dust or lint that has collected inside the unit before replacing the cover.

SOURCE: my bosch nexxt 500 series electric dryer is not

We had the same problem. Cleaned out lint filter and still no heat. We took off the back (lots of screws and had to take top off to get back off). If you are looking at back - at the bottom left there was a red reset button and it clicked when we pressed it (when we pressed it again there was no click). Worked fine after. This solution came from internet. My brother-in-law changed setting to "extra dry"- we usually just used 20/40/60 setting. I think it overheated.

SOURCE: our start button on our bosch nexxt electric dryer

Not sure if this will address the problem but it maybe worth a try. We also had problems with our Nexxt dryer starting. We found the problem was with the start/stop button; it was not making contact with the mini-switch. Used some hot glue under the lever that makes contact with the mini-switch. Put it back together and works great again. Saved about $260 on new control panel. Removing the control panel was pretty easy for a DIYer.

Unplug the dryer.

Remove the four screws that hold the panel in place. They will be hidden under caps on the housing, Pull off the panel. Be careful because the wires will prevent you from pulling it entirely off but you can pull it from the right corner up and flip it on its back side to expose the back of the panel.

The white wire guard will have to be removed. The wire ties holding the wires to the guard will have to be removed by cutting the ties. Replacement wires ties can be purchased at any home improvement store. Remove the control panel by pushing the plastic clips in that hold it to the housing. There should be 6 and two plastic clips on the right center of the panel. If done right it will easily pull off. If force is needed one or more of the clips have not been disengaged. Do not force it because it is made of plastic and will break.

Once the control panel is removed from its housing, the start/stop button can be identified-last one either on the right or left (can

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt Premium Dryer working

TRY THESE SOLUTIONS

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
Check to make sure you are getting full 220 Volt power to the dryer, if you are then:
Check your Wiring
Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks.
If this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.
Check the Door Switch
If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame.
Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch.
Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed.
If not replace the door switch.
Check to make sure you heating problem is not a lint build up in the discharge hose or the dryer,as this condition can cause heater/thermistor problems such as overheating of the heating coil leading to failure of the coil and burnout of the thermostat/thermistor due to overheat.
Remove the back/or front just under the door of the machine and try to locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside/outside the air duct you will find the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistors. Once you have located the heating coil, remove the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it is faulty.
If the heating coil is ok, then:
You can check the thermostat/thermistor one at a time by removing the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape or with an ohm meter to test the thermostat/thermistor. (Should have/show continuity)
If the coil heats up then replace the thermostat/thermistors.
(Thermal fuse.If it overheats the dryer will not operate. It's located on the blower housing. It cannot be reset. A vent clogged with lint can cause it to overheat. You can test it with an Ohm meter or continuity checker, if no continuity, replace it)
DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST.
This could cause a FIRE, as you have removed the safety of overheat from the machine.
Right after replacing a dryer element, always run the dryer on 'air fluff' / 'no heat', and go outside to verify there's plenty of air coming out your vent system.
If the vent's clogged, that new element can burn out very quickly.

with a meter, and first disconnecting cables to each component and reconnecting them after the test is complete
check the continuity of the element, it may have burned out
check continuity of the thermostats on the heater housing and fan housing,
check the interior of the fan body for sox and lint
