Question about Polaroid Televison & Video
This is a 28" hd ready led tv and there are only 4 screws in the back cover along the bottom but this does not release the sides and the top. Does anyone now how to get the back off as I think it needs a new power input board as it is usually difficult to turn on.

The teardown information from rbrown67 was very accurate and easy to follow. It helped tremendously in tearing down my machine to replace the AC plug.

you need to get a lcd tv device such as from dany or xpod. it will connect your cable, and its output can be fed into the lcd monitor.

bloody hell! All the ones I have used (IBM, Compaq and Dell) have clear access to the battery!
That sounds very frustrating!
My Solution, drop kick it out the window if you have to replace another!
