I didn,t have a honda civic problem it,s a VWtransporter fault ! You obviously have a fault on your site.

THis solution depends on your ability to do it yourself.
If you are brave enough you can disassemble your remote and dust the black blisterpads with graphite powder being careful to blow off any residue before reattaching. This will add some life to that old remote, but eventually all things must be replaced. Graphite powder can usually be found at most office supply houses and some Schools. It is usually used to lubricate slide rules.

2) try after you fix it, RUN the software calibration go under the HOOD the motor with the instruc for to follow the step in s. calibration
