John Deere 3235B Golf Fairway and Greens Mower. Quit using reels on it and just use the mower for pulling the sand trailer around now after not using reels for awhile the mower reels will not come on.

Complicated mower and hydraulically operated. Check for leaks in the system and also fluid level.

Normally you have to pay for John Deere repair manual, but a Golf company provides one for free.

Zoo kids fishing pole. The string got all tangled up inside so I took it apart but there are metal pieces I didn't see now I can't figure out how it's suppose to be put back together.

find the parts list on the internet first off. You just look and see what make and or type, modle, etc reel it is or was lol. But when you see the diagram of the parts that are used to build that reel. You should see how each part goes togeather and usealy has arrows that show what order each part goes in if thee are moer than one part that connect togeather. Remember just look up what reel you have and search for that reel with diagram. Or just search for the parts for it and it may have a diagram just pop up for you.

I think with those things you might be cutting grass that is to long, try to raise the height setting if possible and try cutting again. Do this until you get going then adjust back down to desired height. Good Luck...

Hi! I had the same problem and had it repaired (guarantee-repair). They had to exchange the driving belt in the maschine and now it works great again.

Runs ok when you turn the deck on it looses power it goes reel slow

Hi,
I don't know what mower you have. There is a push mower icon beside your problem but you mentioned "deck" so I'll assume it's a rider.
If your engine does fine until engaging the mower deck, I would suspect you have an issue with the deck itself.
Not running and disengaged, do an inspection of your deck. See if the pulleys rotate easily... if no, look under the deck and see if there is any obstruction such as grass clipping build-up (usually from cutting wet grass)... or if there is wire or twine wrapped around the blade shafts.
If the underside looks clear, there may be a spindle bearing issue. You may have to remove the belt to identify which bearing.

In need of a replacement handle

You should be able to buy the top section of the handle. What kind of mower is it and what is the model number? It should be on the rear of the deck.

Scotts reel mower gear problem

I found some replacements at http://www.reelin.com. The parts number for the pinion gear is 30737-2, 30737-3 (left and right) for the Scotts Classic.
