What is the reason of freezing of a LCF touch product?

I used a LCF touch room controller RC, which freezed. That means that the RC become inoperable from it's touchscreen/from distance! The main problem is that the RC remembers the last command, and if freezes with it, than that could mean the heat will increase, or the lights are on forever. I resolved this situation only by cutting the power supply, and I don not know what could be the reason for this. Yes, there are more RC's connected together, and yes, all of them freezed down. I've added a resistance to, but no effect. PS: they freeze aprox. once in 3 weeks...

SOURCE: Mute button freezes my computer

If its a laptop and it came with vista, its most likely XP isnt compatible witht the hardware do to that it was designed for VISTA.

Try going to the laptop companies website and searching for drivers for it that are XP instead of vista and install them.

You bassically downgraded the machine so XP doesnt know how to use your hardware till you install XP drivers for it.

Good Luck

SOURCE: evaporator coil freezing, replaced main control

It is possible you have a defective fan motor in the condenser area or evaporator area. Sometimes when they become defective they will run for a while and just warm up and stop while the compressor continues to run. I learned that one on four costly returns to the home. The cost was to me not the customer. Thanks, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: My Samsung F480 keeps freezing and/or lagging.

I've been having the same issue from past couple of days with no cure but an hour ago I encountered this webpage with a solute. My phones been working fine from past 1 hour. Try this, 1st enter this code *2767*3855# after your phone restarts if it works properly don't proceed to the other step (for me it didn't work the next step did the trick). After this you deactivate your network lock by entering this #7465625*638*00000000#
To be honest I don't find the link between the software issue and network but hey it did work for me and i'm thankful, Good luck. I really hope the lad dies for good and quits haunting me. Anyways, If you need to get in touch this is my email [email protected]. Regards. *grins*

WHAT CAUSES WINDOW AC TO FREEZE UP?

The most common cause of window air conditioners icing up is a lack of adequate air flow. Room air is drawn over the evaporator coils where it is cooled and then re-circulated back into the room. Insufficient air flow over the evaporator coils will cause them to become too cold.

Hi recently very cold weather gear box froze!! any way to stop this happening

you do not mention if automatic or manual so I will give you freezing points for atf and gear oil
the freezing point of atf oil used in automatic transmissions is -62.5 degrees F so unless the oil is very old and is contaminated with water the oil would not be frozen
gear oil(Shell used in diffs and gear boxes 68 grade ) has a pour point of-24 degrees c
however as a petroleum product, all types of non-synthetic oil will not freeze solid
if you mean that the gear selection was impossible then it may be tolerances that are affected by the cold
how to stop it--- possible to house the car in an insulated garage with a simple bar heater operating to keep the room above freezing point

Lg lrfd218855st water does not come out and display shows all 8's

Top Reasons Fridge Freezes Food Refrigerator Troubleshooting
There are several reasons for overcooling in the refrigerator section....as outlined in the link. Your additional symptoms of all the display lights going on so it looks like "88 88" and non operable water might point to the less usual control board causing the problem. The beeping usually means the door has not closed/sealed. Just maybe that is the issue ... which could be a bad door switch. With the door open ... find the switch (near the door frame, hinge side, usually toward the middle/top. Make sure that pressing it in turns the lights off...if the lights stay on that might be the problem. Check the freezer door switch too.
Sorry to not be able to pinpoint your issue better ... I have not seen this combo of symptoms before.

92 gmc sonoma leaking water from freeze plug above starter

Replacing freeze plugs can be a real headache. It's easy once you get enough room to swing a mallet, but very often that means removing the engine. Don't even think of using stop-leak products to try to patch a leaking freeze plug. I have successfully used another technique, though. If you have identified a leaky freeze plug, you can: (1) drain the system, (2) clean the depression in the freeze plug with Scotch-brite and a cleaner like Simple Green to remove both grease and water-soluble deposits, (3) after it dries, apply a liberal amount of putty type steel filled epoxy to the inside of the freeze plug. If you aren't familiar, they are shaped like shallow flat-bottomed cups with an inside diameter about the size of a quarter. What you want to do is to cover the hole with the epoxy from the bottom of the cup up all the sides to the rim, where there is no corrosion. This isn't foolproof, because sometimes the leak is actually not through the plug but around it. Still, it is cheap, fairly permanent, and about the easiest thing to try. Don't worry about making the plug hard to remove if/when the time comes - they are removed by placing a punch in one edge and whacking it with a mallet to knock the plug sideways. The epoxy won't get in the way of that at all. Warning - don't remove a plug unless there is room to use the mallet to seat a new one! If you do, count on removing the engine to get to it. Once it is removed, clean the area throughly with a wire brush, (Warning, do not use a grinder or sand paper). After the area is clean, you install the new plug by placing it inside the hole and hitting it dead center with a mallet and flat punch. This causes the plug to expand and seat itself. But you must have room to be able to do this. This is where the job becomes difficult most of the time. No room!

Other than campers, who else uses freeze-dried foods?

Freeze-dried foods are used by many people for various reasons. Campers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts use it because the product is so light weight and easy to transport. Astronauts also use these products. Many families also buy freeze-dried foods in order to be prepared for an emergency.

Penguin model 610012-001a/c compressor won't start

I would check to make sure that the control is sending the "cool" signal to the control unit. LO on the room temp display usually means that the fan speed is set to low. Is LO and Auto showing on the display at the same time. Try resetting the thermostat first. Hold down the Mode and Zone buttons with the tstat off. While holding them down, turn the tstat back on and hold the buttons down until FF appears on the screen. Release the buttons and try the AC.
If this does not work, on the control board is a freeze control switch plug (blue usually). Try unplugging this unit and insert a small jumper wire. If the Compressor comes on and runs then you have a bad freeze control switch. If not, then you should replace the control board.

Hope this helps,

Jeff
