Surely there are pictures somewhere that show how the strata clothesline winch is attached to the clothesline What is the second piece on the pulley for.

I can see where the hook goes but what about the other arm on the reel. Would it be too much to ask for simple installation instructions for a clothesline.

SOURCE: installing the belt around the dryer drum

you will have to take the drum out to see where the tentioner was inserted , it is in line with the motor pulley, should be a couple holes it fits into.
putting the belt on is easy , with the lined side of the belt down on the drum take the slack at the bottom with a finger holding the belt , move the belt toward the tentioner until it touches the tentioner pulley
then with your other hand help bend the tentioner pulley with the belt on it until you can touch the motor pulley with that finger , slide it off your finger onto the motor pulley and the belt is on.
let me know if you have any questions.

SOURCE: I pulled the paper feeder

Another of the HP disposable line - they aren't supposed to be fixable because it's cheaper to replace them. No service manuals available, sorry. But from what you describe it's the roller pressure spring - the spring is there to keep the roller pressed on the paper jam sensor.

2007 Yamaha 350 4x4. Tried to use winch. Now, why doesn't it start?

Hello. It seems the winch on your Yamaha 'strained' its electrical system; 'fried' wires including the 'starter circuit' wiring. It's possible there is a 'blown' relay and/or fuse somewhere. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Why will my Hills Hoist /villa 37 "free-wheel"......there is enough breeze.

Hi Bonnie,

The Hills Everyday Villa 37 has a breeze brake which is the top section of the clothesline. What this does is locks the clothesline in position to allow for ******* on windy days.

To get the clothesline to Free Wheel you need to make sure it is wound up enough to miss this breeze brake section and allow it to spin in the wind.

How to reline a hills rotary clothesline model FD88002

The Hills Rotary 7 Clothesline FD88002 is one of the new Hills rotary models and does have easy line replacement.

This Hills Rotary clothesline has a line tensioner and cap that covers the catch.

You will need a small screw driver to pop off the caps.

Next step is to remove the line from the tensioner

You would then thread the new line through and re-tension the line as per the instructions in the manual or video below.

You can find the Hills Rotary 7 Manual here for free download.
Hills Rotary 7 Clothesline Owners Manual FD88002 FD88003

Below is the video on how to re-tension the lines.

This is the replacement line that Hills make which comes in a 70m pack which is the length you would need if you are re-wiring your whole clothesline.

Here is the video on installing this clothesline as well in case this also helps.

What a camp clothesline?

In most national parks you are not allowed to string a rope to a tree therefore a clothesline can become a very handy piece of equipment. You should set them up out in the sun to let the clothes dry quickly.

2006 snow bear plow, winch will not lift plow, sounds like its turning but is not lifting plow consistantly, Is something loose?

Yes, Check where strap or chain is mounted to winch. It could be loose or have dirt or oil on it something to make it slip.On mine there's a brass piece that raps around the shaft, It got lose and dirty so I cleaned and tightened it. If you pull motor off winch to check gears [don't use gear] when reassembling it's too thick when it's cold. I used white spray lube. Hope it helps!

Snow Bear Winch..... Will not pick up plow at times. Motor seems strong drum will not turn,,,slips. Is there a replacement part available without buying an entire winch? Thanks

Hi there, I had the same problem, my winch has a chain to lift the plow.I put oil on the chain to keep from rusting and thats what started my troubles. So I took the mount off that holds the chain on the winch and there's a brass piece that is squeezed behind it.Cleaned and tightened it and works fine now. If you take motor off winch to check gears[ DON'T USE GREASE] when reassembling! When its cold it doesn't want to turn, just use motor oil or spray lube
