This could be related to the Internet browser you are using to access Facebook. I would recommend updating to the most recent version of which browser you normally use (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
What OS are you running? If you are running the latest version of OSX, you can go to System Preferences -> Notification and change the notification for Facebook.
You can do this one of two ways. Either you can set a universal "Notification Tone" for your phone with the desired song, or you can set a specific notification tone for your particular messaging app.
To set a universal tone (which will play when messages arrive, and for calendar events and other "notification" type events), do this: - Go to your App Drawer and tap Settings - Tap "Sound" - Tap "Notification Ringtone" and select the song you want. If the song doesn't appear in your list, download RingDroid and use it to save the tone as a Notification tone. Basically, you'll just open the sound in RingDroid, tap the menu key and then save it as a notification tone.
If you only want the sound for a particular app, like the default messaging app, you'll need to open that app, tap the menu key, access the Settings menu and look for something like "Notification settings." In the default messaging app, the option is at the bottom of the Settings screen, and you tap "Select ringtone" to choose the sound you want to play when a message arrives.
Hello! The answering machine will automatically save messages if you do not delete them; Even in the event of a power failure. It can hold 15 minutes of messages. After 15 minutes machine will "wrap" writing over the oldest message. An old message (listened to) can be deleted by holding erase for more than two seconds. Pressing Mailbox X (1-3) will delete all Old Messages in that box. Once deleted they are gone forever...
