SOURCE: Insignia NS B2110 boombox CD not playing

There is a switch on the back of the player that will let you choose from AM and FM radio to CD.

This CD player does not support MP3 discs.

Try flipping the switch to CD and play a store bought disc or CDDA disc.

How do you pair headphones to a ONN boombox?

Unless the Boombox has Bluetooth and most don't, it is hard. You would have to have a Bluetooth transmitter attached to the Audio out.

I have an onn bluetooth boombox that works fine with FM, bluetooth and CD's but as soon as i unplug it to use batteries only the FM and bluetooth works and it can no longer read ny CD's

If your onn bluetooth boombox is no longer able to read CDs when using battery power, it is possible that the batteries are not providing enough power to the CD player. CD players require a lot of power to spin the disc and read the data, and using low-quality or weak batteries may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player to function properly.
Here are some steps you can try to fix this problem:
  1. Use high-quality batteries: Make sure that you are using high-quality batteries in your onn bluetooth boombox. Low-quality batteries may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player, and they may also leak or corrode, which can damage the CD player and other components.
  2. Use fresh batteries: If you have been using the same batteries for a long time, they may have lost some of their charge and may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player. Try replacing the batteries with fresh ones to see if that helps.
  3. Use rechargeable batteries: Rechargeable batteries may be able to provide more consistent and reliable power to the CD player than disposable batteries. If you are using disposable batteries, try switching to rechargeable ones and see if that makes a difference.
If these steps do not fix the problem, it is possible that there is a problem with the CD player itself. In this case, you may need to contact onn customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps and help you determine if the CD player needs to be repaired or replaced.

When I load a CD into my new ONN portable am/fm boombox the display read "No." What do I do?

If it is brand new or under a year old then it should be under warranty, if new take it back to the shop or place you purchased it and tell them it's not working. Or you can contact the maker for a replacement or repair.

I have a zs-s41p boom box that takes an ipod and CD. I'm not getting any sound at all. Radio, ipod or CD player. Help!

Check the back of the unit for possible shorts in the speaker wires, no change! take the boombox to a service centre for a repair estimate.

My boombox is displaying the word "Protect" in the display. ???

The protect message indicates that there is a problem with the final stage of the amplifier section. This unit will require repair as a reset will not clear this. There is an audio amp IC inside that needs to be replaced. Figure on about $15 or so for the part.
