I installed a CISS system in my WF-3640 which is very similar to the 3520. I just leave the top open and put a small piece of white eraser in the slot where the cover peg would go into. That way the printer thinks the top is closed. Yo can print, scan, copy, fax, etc., with the top open.

Try this fix in the video. It may be something very simple. After you resolve issue, make sure to turn printer off and then on again to clear error.

The ADF just pops open from the left side of the printer. There's some finger holes and just lift up the lid. As for grinding, it may be busted unless it got a sheet of paper in the gears.

Envelops can be printed per the software such as microsoft office. Depends on the program you use but if the software you use has this somewhere. sorry but it is a setting.

A driver component is missing meaning not installed good or not all the drivers for printer is installed.
