Check all the connections at the back in case they are loose. Make sure that all the devices connected to the set are working properly - sometimes they need to be restarted. My Mom's satellite tuner does that sometimes and it messes with the TV.
Verify the batteries in the
remote control are good.

Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
It sounds as though your system is getting no power at all- try a second ac adapter. If that does not work, if in warranty, contact your technical support provider to get it serviced. If not, there is a good chance you will need a replacement motherboard- find a reputable technician and see about purchasing the replacement board.
The 2 blink error is a temperature error and the 6 blink error is a thermal fuse error. You may need to unplug the set and get you a can of canned air, take off the back lower cover and blow out all of the fans inside the set.
If your device does not respond after you have tried
all the codes for your brand, or if your brand is not
listed, try searching for your code by following these
steps.
1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be
controlled.
2. Press and hold the SETUP button until
the red indicator stays on, then
release the SETUP button.
3. Press and quickly release the desired
device button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red
indicator blinks off once.
4. Press the ON-OFF button repeatedly
(up to 300 times) until the device to
be controlled turns off. The red
indicator blinks off with each button
press.
5. Press and release ENTER to install the code

seconds, until the red light on the Skyremote control blinks twice.

press the standby button. Repeat this (press tv, then standby)
until your TV turns off, then press select (stores code).
If at this point the LED on the Skyremote control blinks three times then all
possible codes for that make of receiver have been checked. Repeat from step
one, ensuring that you enter the correct manufacturer code.
At the end of the sequence, if you see the TV Guide screen, the remote control
setup process is complete. If you did not see the TV Guide screen, you must now
complete the following steps.
8. Press tv on your Skyremote control.
9. Hold down select and the green button together for about two
seconds, until the red light on the Skyremote control blinks twice.
10. Key in the number of the channel on your TV that you use for watching
satellite TV.
11. Press select on your Skyremote control. The red light blinks twice. The
remote control setup process is complete.
