Where can I find a manual on how to use the Conair Instant Heat Hairsetter model CHV21C? Thank you.

Watching a YouTube video on how to use Hot Rollers would be a good idea. I found several for you to see, and she's using Conair rollers, also the same kind I have. I know the clips are difficult to work with but this might help give you some tips! Good luck! My Everyday Hair Tutorial Hot Rollers

When i engaged the blades - they didn't - found clutch cable detattched - dont know where to reattach it

The blade engage cable attaches to the tensioning pulley. It is the one forward and a little left of the the right blade pulley. The spring on the end of the cable slides over the top and is retained by a clip that slides throught the hole in the top of the rod. If you can not find the clip on the mower deck then you will need to replace it (about the same size as the one holding the cable in place on the post at the back of the deck). or you will need to improvise a substitute until you can obtain a clip. May be able to find an appropriately sized clip at a hardware store. If not, let me know and I will tell you how to order one.

I hope this helps get you mowing.

How do you replace the platenroller guide rollers?

to replace the feed rollers under the platen. 1 - remove the platen by squeezing the black plastic clips at the ends of the platen and pulling the platen straight up. 2 - pull the paper pan out, 3 - push down on the feed roller set and rotate it towards you. replace bad rollers and put things back in reverse order. there is a guide on the rod the feed roller unit sits on, make sure the guide on the feed roller unit goes back in this. there are pins at the right side and left side of the right and left feed roller units. these are for positioning the paper pan in the slotted tabs on the bottom of the paper pan. make sure the gear on the platen goes on the left side, position the clips to center on the frame, then push straight down. make sure both clip are fastened in. the only reason you should be replacing these rollers is if they are splitting apart or falling off due to the pins at the ends of the rollers wearing off (never seen this happen on a WW6) if you are having some sort of other problem, you might ask for a different solution before doing this - its harder than it sounds.

How long do you put hot dogs on the roller grill?

Hi,
Once you have the rollers hot (10 min.) it should only take about ten minutes for the dogs to heat up... they are fully cooked so you anly have to get them hot, but you can let them on for a much longer time if you want too, like if you are selling them at a stand...

Oven takes a long time to heat up

your ignitor could be going out. the ignitor has to get hot enough in order for the gas to turn on and heat your oven. if your ignitor is going out, sometimes it doesn't glow hot enough for the gas to turn on, or it could be that is takes longer than normal to get hot enough to turn the gas on. I would replace the ignitor and that should solve the problem. Joe

Clothes get caught between drum at front of dryer

the drum has either worn out its felt(front), a fabric bearing, or the roller(rear) bearings, or both, and dropped enough to make a gap. new rollers are3 about $15 /pair, felts between $13 & $90 depending on model.
Generic replacement is simple, and really while you got it apart, do both, the strain of twisting off axis will make the remaining good end fail shortly
The generic steps may not be correct for the actual dryer model.

Felt seal
for most dryers,
Go buy HiTemperature silicone adhesive (tube)
tools required couple pairs locking pliers/visegrips screwdrivers

Unplug dryer
remove the front cover, either
  • couple screws at the bottom and spring clips to pop off with a screw driver OR
  • couple of spring clips to hold the top lid on, then screws top and bottom of both sides

examine the case to find the exact mounting
unclip cables from door switch
set front panel aside
unhook drive belt from tensioner pulley
pull drum forward and out

remove old felt
scrape off old adhesive
put adhesive per instructions (some 2 surfaces some 1) on drum/felt
clip felt in place on drum with visegrip at 1 point
stretch felt around drum, gluing and clipping in place with vicegrips as you go
allow glue to set

reassemble in reverse order

Roller bearings
for most dryers,
tools required needle pliers/visegrips screwdrivers

Unplug dryer
remove the front cover, either

  • couple screws at the bottom and spring clips to pop off with a screw driver OR
  • couple of spring clips to hold the top lid on, then screws top and bottom of both sides

examine the case to find the exact mounting
unclip cables from door switch
set front panel aside
unhook drive belt from tensioner pulley
pull drum forward and out

remove old rollers:
  • pry triangular circlip from axle post
  • discard circlip
  • remove and discard roller
  • install new roller
  • install new circlip
    ALWAYS replace rollers in pairs

    reassemble in reverse order
wow took longer to type than it actually takes to do it
