SOURCE: Mitsubishi 60 inch projection

They are not BULBS by any stretch of the imagination. They are CRTs (Cathode Ray Tubes, also known as "picture tubes," and each of them are small television screens, in essence), which are optically enlarged for projection onto the back of the front screen. Don't be tempted to think that you will merely be able to replace a "bulb" and have everything work!

Although you will be able to replace all of the components on the PC board if necessary (they all remain available), and may be able to fix the coolant leak that caused the failure, the CRT may have overheated. Considering the advanced age of the television, the tubes are likely already somewhat burned-in. Best to just dispose of the set.

SOURCE: sharp aquos lc-37d43u tv

Same problem. TV worked night before and then would turn on but no picture or sound. Power and OPC lights blinking. I couldn't change the channel or get to the menu.
I disconnected the coaxial cable and the power for a few minutes and then plugged it back in (electric) but left the cable off. I got a message that it couldn;t get a signal. At that point I was able to change the channels. I plugged the cable line back in and everything worked fine... Good luck!!!

I know what you mean. :(
I couldn't get mine to work with my Emerson TV. No codes worked.
You may have a chance with yours. Try this link here to get and program the codes:

Then if does control the TV, hopefully the input button on the remote will work.

SOURCE: Philips 42'' Plasma TV 42PF7320A/37 red led error codes

I had the Same issue. on a 50PF9431D/37 set. Many Plasma Set's use a LJ44-00118A PS-505-PH Power supply from Samsung. Known to have this common problem. If you can, or have a friend that can Solder components?. Unplug your set remove the back panel & locate your power supply. It will be the PCB in the center of the set just above the Video/Audio connections. http://www.shopjimmy.com/power-supply-unit-lj44-00118a-from-philips-50mf231d-40.htm. Is a Link to a photo of the PCB. Make a note of the locations of all cable connections then unplug them all. Un-install PCB, Check all Fuse first. I believe their is 5 or 6 of them on the PCB. Then replace the two 3300uf 10v 105C Radial capacitors at C8060 & C8059. Look to see if the Caps are deformed and or split at the top. The location of the caps are in the Lower bottom edge of the PCB. A local shop may Carrie them if not, digi-key has them. Part # http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=493-1754-ND. Total cost was $7 with S/H.

80 inch Sharp TV has front indicator with one short flash and one long flash. This is on model LC-80LE650U

Hi,

Please first switch power plugs for the tv and remove all attachments outside of what is necessary to power the tv and then check again.

If you still have issues, please use the troubleshooting section of your manual to help determine the meaning of the specific flashes that you're seeing.

Thank you.

Why doesn't it turn on?

Might be a problem with its Power Supply Regulator Board [SMPS] inside.
If you wish to get some details; check the sites linked here.
https://elektrotricks.blogspot.com/
https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault. Search the site by type in the Brand Name of your set, in its search bar at the right side column, and press enter. See it in by Webview with mobile or by desktop. Mobile View has no search box. Screen-shots to defective LCD panels are given. You can see and compare to that to your TVs', and can make sure about the fault to an extent.

Need to troubleshoot a Sharp 70" LED TV: Symptom: No Picture, not responsive to controls.

Hello Doug,
I would suggest to test all the voltages in the power supply, If all the voltages test OK then It's more likely that the main board is causing the LED not to be responsive.

Any experience with a main board swap on a lc52le640u Sharp Television?

I would start by checking power supply voltages which should be printed near the output connectors.

Sharp LC-26D43U Power light flashes and unit won't turn on?

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.

Here's a place I use to get parts for TVs:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=LC-26D43U&p=1
The problem is the repair shop may charge you double or three times of what the part costs at the web site link above. Then, plus labor. I just want to save you money. :)

No POWER

How many times does the POWER led flash per second? (Dont worry about the OPC).

1x (steady constant blink) = Lamps or inverters
2x = Power Supply
3x = Main Unit

If i am reading it correctly, looks like the POWER led is flashing 2x, which means it is a power supply failure. Either way, your TV needs to have a board replaced, there isn't anything you can do to fix it yourself. Try locating your local sharp authorized service center to repair your TV (1-800-237-4277)
