You could try and have it repaired but most likely the damage has already been done to the phone so no guarantee it's even fixable. I'd get a new phone maybe one of the water proof one's :)

Your phone is - sadly to say - probably dead.
With older phones, one can take out the battery and leave them to dry. In some cases the phone will function again. Sadly, with the newer phones, the electronics are so sensitive that water almost always will ruin the phone.
But, you can always leave it to dry (with the battery taken out!), and if you are very lucky, your phone will function again.

the screens have probably been damaged, i would try taking it to verizon so they can make sure and so that your phone doesnt get anymore problems from the puddle.

Maybe if you clean the the battery and battery terminals with a clean dry cloth and then put it in a bowl of uncooked rice it will work. Please give me a rating.

Sadly I think it is too late to help. If it had water inside, that probably shorted it out. However, in the future, you should take the battery out as soon as possible to prevent this.

If you want to try something, just let it dry completely and then try using it again. I doubt that this will do anything, but it might end up working.

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

And look, i saw your cellular phone specs, and my opinion: replace your phone! if you want something simple and strong, buy Nokia 6230/6230I its the best model of Nokia, its strong, simple, smart, fun and most likely: cheap.

all you need to do is chagne the battery and connect the charger to the phone...it will boot up again.
