SOURCE: Logitech X-240 Sound Problem

I live in the Netherlands and i hear radio from UK, Russia and other languages. It's true it's in evening. Weather here now are rain in thunderstorm, i thought thunderstorms maybe could be the problem. Yesterday evening i heard nothing of the radio station. Hearing that radio staions is against FCC rulles. So it's possible to complain about it to radio stations. Im going to contact Logitecht tmorrow about this problem. I keep you updated.

If it sounds normal, then yes leave them as they are.

But there may need to be an exception made.

The distances are set the way they are for the proper advance or delay in milliseconds of the sound arrival at the listening position.
The system calibrated your speaker settings based on how each channel's frequency responses measured at the listening position. Room acoustics and channel positioning greatly affects this. The settings it made in the system can be a best case scenario compromise that MAY not be good for your surround speakers as it can be delivering signal to them that they were not designed to handle; in which case it is best to increase the crossover value of those speakers.

SOURCE: Describe your Magnavox Stereo Mini

Yes.

NEVER USE MAXIMUM VOLUME FOR TROUBLESHOOTING.
Turn the volume control to something medium.
The errant switch, control or condition may change and you will suddenly release the amp's full power and possibly destroying your speakers. If a signal isn't audible at 1/2 volume it's probably not there.

Carefully examine the front panel for clues like a misplaced Mute or Tape Monitor control or Multichannel Analog Input selected.

There is a good chance that a common control may have developed a high-resistance or 'dead' spot through idleness and is causing your symptom. Turn the POWER OFF and operate every control throughout its range a number of times, especially rarely-used ones like Tape Monitors and the Mute control.

Turn the volume to something reasonable and see if that helped.

Milwaukee radio m18. Does work after New charged battery

Sometimes radios have Mute feature. Check if it has been activated by accident. If OK but still low volume sound, remove the unit and test it on a bench with different speakers. If OK then check the speaker cables in you car. Some may have shorted.

Radio sometimes works

Bad solder joint in the radio. Chips don't come back to life when they die. Something that has to be searched for after the radio is tore down.

Unit powers up, cd and radio seem to be operating properly, but no sound is heard, unit worked fine a few days before, all wires are conected, everything seems unchanged

Well...as you said...the unit powers up...so you don't have a "dead set".I don't know if the speaker can be disconnected from the unit.As a rule of thumb...it is very rare that both channels (left and right )fail at the same time...it is usually one channel while the other speaker still operates. This is what I want you to do...In a quiet room..get really close to the unit...Switch it on and listen for any sound from the speakers...get really close...you should hear a slight hum from the woofers and a high frequency "hiss" from the tweeters....If no sound is heard..switch the unit off..You should hear a "plip" sound...If not...switch it on again...you should hear a slight "bump" sound from the woofers...If you hear no sound from the speakers at all..there is a problem with the output stages of the amplifier section. If you do hear sounds fron the speakers,,Turn up the volume and watch for an increase visually on the display (such as ascending numbers). If there is no indication of a volume increase...The "mute" may be stuck on..Try switching it off and on...please let me know what happens after you do all the tests....Looking to hear from you......PEACE!!!

NO (Quiet) ...there is a problem between the radio and speakers ( loose connector , broken wire etc, blown speakers)

Radio dose not work. its makes a fuzzy noise and is really quiet but i can still hear some music.

Sounds like the wire to the speaker is shorted outsomewhere, as if some sharp piece of metal has worn through the insulation somewhere.
