Hi Vale Savege, so you may have problems with the connection or the antenna cable
To receive AM, you need to have the connection and antenna cable correctly, while to receive FM, with a shorter cable you can do the same
I sent you the link to download the Service Manual
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

SOURCE: GES050 undercounter radio/cd player

..just read about your reception/interference problems and, having lived through similar situations for some time — particularly with different weather conditions. The following solution has settled it all : wrap power cable around storage brackets at back of radio with a short length then wound around support posts (between radio and cupboard from which radio hangs), then run short length to power supply outlet. In my case this result comes after much experimentation with the length of unwapped power cord (including fully unwrapped and stretched out) and different patterns of winding around the support posts. This final result takes care of everything (better sound, no interference/loss-of-reception when moving around in the room or in front of the radio, weather has no effect, stations received that could not be before due to overlap by nearby, more powerful ones). I have only about 2 1/2 feet of cable running from the brackets at back of radio, then wound once around center support and half around right support to then go to wall and down to receptacle close by (I tried all kinds of combinations of unwrapped lengths and winding patterns around 1 to 3 posts)...individual cases may be different. so GOOD LUCK, 'cause the radio is great...!

SOURCE: Replaced radio with one from same model year. Displays Err 01.

this generally means the laser is either dirty or the cd player is shot, err 01 is a disc reading problem. Try cleaning lens with cleaning disc first if this does not help i would replace the unit with another. i would recommend replacing it with a cheap aftermarket stereo.

Pioneer cd player quit workin and i have static in radio could my fm modulator be bad and can that keep my cd player from working

Your modulator shouldn't effect the cd player. But it can cause static in your fm if you leave it on. Make sure the modulator is turned off before trying to use the regular fm. Also, if its a wired modulator, then check the antenna connections. If it's wireless than it should not effect anything. Depending on the radio, get a aux input on it. Wireless fm transmitters are the worst.

No audio on my pioneer super tuner d eeq mosfet 50 w when it appears to be on???

the amplifier inside the unit has failed.
you can verify by hooking up an amplifier and using the RCA jacks for your signal.
If it works - the radio's internal amplifier is in need of repair.
Something will have caused the problem - so in the meantime - check the speakers for shorted wiring or burned voicecoils.

Will not tune any radio station, fm or am. everything else works fine. May be damage resulting from lightning, through the antena input.

It is very possible the fm tuner pack is damaged from lighting,if you have voltage going to the fm tuner pack im sure your tuner is bad pioneer part number for your tuner is AXQ7231

Hello all;;;;;; i have a pioneer vsx-9500s,,,,the problem is i ran cable to my reciever so my fm radio will work but it doesn't,,,,,,,,i checked the cable on a tv and it worked ,,,,so i know the line is...

Nonsense. FM is included in MOST tv cable subscriptions- make sure your subscription includes this service. Do you have another receiver/tuner to test with?
Check all the connections between the cable entrance and your tuner; eliminate all splitters for testing. If you can get another tuner to work on your cable, it may be time to check into your tuner-
There is no difference in signal level between tv and fm- your receiver is not gonna burn up! If it has a 75-ohm cable input, use it!
