so what makes you think the laptop has BT? its and option on all PC made, when new (check this first)
is this the only BT device you own? do tell. and can be added to any PC on earth with a BT USB dongle stick. for like $4 what is the distance to the speakers (BT uses radio signals weak) 10ft 50 ft (10 meters) what? distance matters on all transmitters regardless if BT, wifi, wlan, or 3g/4g/. etc...
BT comes in 2 power settings, some devices do not use high power mode. (on speakers this would make for best) does the speakers pair with any other PC? with BT?
the speakers if not junk has RTM manual. and read the page on how to reset pairing. BT loves to memorize your favorite devices, so if problems happen. learn how to reset that memory , call reset pairing history.
You may try turning off the bluetooth on your phone, turning off the speaker, turning back ON the speaker and then turning on the bluetooth on your phone again. This should reset the phone to SEARCH for BT-100.
Once you SEARCH for available devices you should see BT-100 on the list. Select BT-100 and it should pair. If it does not CONNECT be sure to press BT-100 again to connect. The speaker will BEEP, indicating that the speaker and the phone are now connected.
If you continue to have trouble feel free to contact the manufacturer at [email protected] or going to http://www.contelusa.net
You will need to be sure that your device has BLUETOOTH. If it has bluetooth please turn on the bluetooth settings on your android device. You will now want to turn on the speaker.
Using the android device you will search for available bluetooth devices. Once you see BT-100 you will select that to PAIR. Some devices will automatically CONNECT after the devices have been paired. If not, please press BT-100 again to CONNECT. The BT-100 speaker should BEEP indicating that they have connected and the speaker is now ready to use.
If you continue to have trouble feel free to contact the manufacturer at [email protected] or going to http://www.contelusa.net
Go to settings, General, blue tooth and remove any "other" previous paired BT devices & Turn off BT, then go to Sett. General, scroll down to reset and reset network settings, this will not delete anything. Power off BT speaker. after iPad re-boots turn on BT Speaker First, make sure BT is off on iPad as well as WIFI-wait like 10-15 seconds and then turn BT on in iPad it should see your speaker now and let you pair it up.
The best way might be to go to the manufacturer them selfs and contact them to see if they can send you the info you need there website is www.vivitar.com hope this helps -SuperRichard37
If you go into the set up menu and go to the speakers set up - it only
shows the right, left, centre and subwoofer on the screen. You need to
go down to the box below these speakers and activate the rear speakers
which are not shown. The wireless section will then light up w1/2 on
the display at the front of the scbt100 - i had to call panasonic to
figure this out and they advised me it was missing from the
instructions!!!
