You will have to change out the thermostat wire if you do not have another wire in the sheath you can use.
You must have 2 wires for 24 volts hot and neutral. Usually red and blue.
Yellow for the compressor contactor.
Orange for the reversing valve.
White for the indoor heat coil relay. To bring on indoor coil when in defrost mode.

SOURCE: I have a Samsung ht-p1200

You could try rigging headphones to the speaker output if you don't mind cutting some wires and spending a couple bucks on a headphone jack thing.

Hi, I'm using the Samsung HT-E330K. It works but does not speak out. The power display is fine but no sound

If your Samsung HT-E330K home theater system is not producing any sound even though the power display seems to be working fine, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels:** Make sure the volume on the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable) is turned up and not muted.
2. **Check Audio Source:** Verify that the correct audio source is selected on the home theater system. If you're using multiple input sources (DVD, TV, AUX, etc.), make sure the right input source is selected.
3. **Audio Cables:** Ensure that all audio cables are securely connected to both the home theater system and the audio source (TV, DVD player, etc.). Sometimes, loose or faulty cables can result in no sound.
4. **Speaker Connections:** Check that all speakers are properly connected to the home theater system and that the speaker wires are securely inserted into the appropriate terminals.
5. **Audio Settings:** Go through the audio settings on both the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable). Ensure that the correct audio output settings are configured.
6. **Mute Function:** Double-check that the mute function on the remote control or the home theater system itself is not engaged.
7. **Speaker Balance:** Check the speaker balance settings to ensure that sound is not unintentionally directed to one side or speaker.
8. **Reset to Default Settings:** If you've made any changes to the settings recently, consider performing a factory reset to revert to the default settings.
9. **Firmware Update:** If there is a firmware update available for your home theater system, consider updating the firmware as it might resolve any software-related issues.
10. **Test with Different Source:** Test the home theater system with different audio sources to rule out issues with a particular device.
11. **Test Speakers:** If possible, disconnect each speaker one at a time and test the audio to identify if a particular speaker or speaker wire is causing the issue.
12. **Check Speaker Impedance:** Ensure that the speakers' impedance matches the specifications of the home theater system. Mismatched impedance can affect sound quality.
13. **Contact Support:** If you've tried these steps and still have no sound, consider contacting Samsung customer support or seeking assistance from a professional technician for further troubleshooting and repair.
Remember to refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions related to your model.

My Samsung HT-DM550 shows "lock"

Be careful to do this with AC cable disconnected from AC outlet! If you have some experience with electronics, disconnect the wired plugs from power supply and discharge electrolitic capacitors to ground with a 330 ohm 1 watt resistor. Then reconnect the wired plugs. Be careful to do this with AC cable disconnected from AC outlet! Then connect to AC outlet and turn on the DVD player. You will see that DVD player restores to normal operation again.

My son selected the out put to 1080p instead of 1080i and is giving me a message invalid format, and i can not reset it to the 1080i, i got a samsung BD-P1200

Hi there.

Take out any disc still in the player and, with the power on, press and hold down the Fast Forward button on the front of the unit for 10-15 seconds. This will reset your player to its default settings. A language menu selection should appear on the TV screen, which confirms the reset.

Keep in mind that the default output for the device might be analog, so make sure you have those connectors at hand.

Hope this helps,

Gurus, I just bought Samsung Home Theater System which i connected to my Hitachi TV with HDMI cable. I have a Optical Cable going from HT to my TV Optical port. I have another connection from my cable

On the remote control for the Samsung Home Theater System look at the bottom left to a button that says "MODE", those moods change the sound each speaker gives off. if that doesn't work, you might need new wiring because there are other wires that are more durable than the ones that come with it, much better too.

No sound thru surround sound system in TV Mode

Hi,
You need to connect your TV to the AUX connection in the back of your HT system. Then set your HT system on AUX 1 and wait about 5 seconds for the TV sound to come through. If it does not work on AUX 1, you may have to try on AUX 2 or AUX 3 settings on your HT system. Make sure the A/V cable you use is good and in working order and is a good quality cable.
Hope that helps, Gary
