Your new refrigerator should be covered under warranty and if you look into the paperwork that came with it there should be a toll free number to call and make a claim under the factory warranty. Most warranty period are for at least a year and if you bought and extended warranty, could be under warranty for up to 5 years. When you call the number, they will get you in touch with a technician and will go over several quick fixes, and if that does not work, they will get you in touch with a local refrigerator repairman who should only charge you a nominal fee of around $50. The rest of the expense will be paid to the local technician when they call the warranty claim center to be reimbursed for their parts and labor. DO NOT PAY ANY MORE THAN YOUR TRADE FEE. THEY HAVE TO CALL AND GET REIMBURSED FROM THE WARRANTY BRANCH. I put this in because I hear of people are sometimes so appreciative of getting there refrigerator fixed they simply pay for the repair and the technician calls and get paid again from the warranty center.

If you bought the refrigerator from one of the big box stores, like Lowes or Home depot, just call them back up and get them to replace the refrigerator with one that works properly.

I have a Samsung RL55VTEBG fridge/freezer and the LED display is not displaying properly/not responding. Is it the PCB board that needs replacing? If so, where is it located? Thanks.

First disconnect refrigerator from the power supply for 3+ minutes. Then reconnect power supply. If prolem remains ,then the PCB output voltage should be checked beforE replacing the PCB.

The compressor in a fridge draws a lot of amps on start-up and it could be you blew a fuse . Scoot the thing out and take off the back and then check the voltage going up to the display you could have jarred a wire loose which is what I suspect Look at everything and see ,its something simple I'm sure.Take voltage measurements to see if the compressor is getting what it needs and the display as well,in between the two is a control board and that is where the fuse will be found if no wires are off.

I dont now how to set temperature for samsung rsh1nhmh . All the light in the house vent off and the plugs . Now on the frige screen is only a flashing light. Nothing else

The refrigerator temperature can be set between 7?C (46°F) and 1?C (34°F) to suit your particular needs. Press the Fridge button repeatedly until the desired temperature is shown in the temperature display. The temperature control process for the Fridge works just like the Freezer process. Press the Fridge button to set your desired temperature. After a few seconds, the Fridge will begin tracking towards the newly set temperature. This will be reflected in the digital display.

Temp

I've had my Samsung RS267 LASH side by side for almost 2 years now and the coils froze recently. The temperatures displayed - relating to the refirgerator side - bounce around when the coils freeze. My freezer thank goodness is still working properly. The repairman indicated that the heating element for the refrigerator coils was bad. Unfortunately he had to order the whole unit (coils, heating element, etc.) since he couldn't replace just the one part. Samsung takes their time sending the parts - we've been waiting for 10 days now. The Samsung warranty covers the compressor, evaporator, condensor, drier and connecting tube for 5 years parts and labor so we should becovered. You might be covered as well - depending on when you purchased your refrigerator. I did purchase a separate extended warranty from Lowes when I bought the refrigerator and I'm glad I did. My extended warranty included $250 in food spoilage covering our food loss due to the breakdown. Hope this helps......
