SOURCE: I have a Kenmore sewing

Buy a new foot pedal for it, probably one of the electrical components inside the foot has failed.

There are Kenmore footcontrols for sale on www.sewingpartsonline.com. You could email them to check its right for your model if it isn't listed.

Obviously I'm assuming that you are in USA with 110 Voltage and that is what your machine is. If not and your country is 220V, you would need to source it from a reseller in your own country or another with the same voltage.

I have a Quantum Stylist 9960 and when I'm sewing it stops inthe middle of a stitch and the warning is foot peddle with the arrow pointing upwards or it tells me to lower the foot peddle.

If your Quantum Stylist 9960 sewing machine stops in the middle of a stitch and displays a message about the foot pedal, it's likely due to a connection issue with the foot pedal. Check the foot pedal's cable and connection to ensure it's securely plugged in. If the problem persists, consider cleaning the foot pedal's sensor or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

How do I slow my Husqvarna Viking 18 x8 down. It stitches fast and faster, never slow.

To slow down the stitching speed on your Husqvarna Viking 18 x8, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the machine's manual: First, consult the manual that came with your Husqvarna Viking 18 x8 machine. The manual should have instructions on how to adjust the stitching speed.
  2. Adjust the stitch length: One way to slow down the stitching speed is to adjust the stitch length. A shorter stitch length will slow down the machine's stitching speed. Refer to your machine's manual for instructions on how to adjust the stitch length.
  3. Change the foot pressure: Another way to slow down the stitching speed is to change the foot pressure. Reducing the foot pressure can help slow down the machine's stitching speed. Again, refer to your machine's manual for instructions on how to adjust the foot pressure.
  4. Use a different presser foot: Some presser feet are designed for slower stitching speeds. You can try using a different presser foot to slow down the machine's stitching speed.
  5. Use a speed control pedal: Some machines come with a speed control pedal that allows you to adjust the machine's stitching speed. If your machine has a speed control pedal, try using it to slow down the stitching speed.
If none of these steps help slow down the stitching speed on your Husqvarna Viking 18 x8, you may need to contact a professional technician for assistance.

I have a baby lock Esante EXE when sewing a straight stitch, i take my foot off the foot peddle but the machine will continue to sew about 5-8 stitches instead of stopping, any ideas why this happens?

Try to solate the problem to machine or foot control by detaching foot control and use stop/start. If stop after a start exhibits same as foot pedal then likely the problem is machine control board else, foot pedal. Could be foot control is sticking and not completely opening or slow to open.

My janome dc6050 stitches normally then slows down and stops. Why?

I assume you are using the foot control not the Stop/Start button?

Simple straight stitch or a programmed pattern?

Could be foot pedal issue, so try using Stop/Start and a simple straight stitch. Or could be a programming error or other so I suggest you isolate any foot pedal issue by using Stop/Start and simple straight stitch. Reply here with results.

Juki sewing machine keeps sewing after releasing foot pedal

Your machine could be out of time. When you turn on does it stop or stitch a couple switches. Belt could be worn out as well. How old is it? Thank you very much. Please leave some feedback or more information so I may help you.

E 1 error message

Make sure you lower the presser foot before continuing the operation.

The foot controller was pressed (or the start/stop button

was pressed if the foot controller is not connected)

and the reverse/reinforcement stitch button
was pressed while the presser foot was raised.
