Question about Samsung Televison & Video
Recently, the picture was flashing blank but has stopped. Now I'm noticing dark spots all over the screen. I opened it up and all led backlights are functioning properly, diffuser panels are very clean and I don't see any physical issues. Could my panel be bad? or is it possible that the main board is the issue? Thanks

Yes, it can be inverter back lights circuits issue or bad caps in the power supply, worst case will be the lamps. Open it up and post back what you see inside so we can guide you further, see failed monitrs due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

SOURCE: Samsung led TV un60es8000 dark blotchy area on the upper right of screen. Most noticeable on greys, blues and blacks. The picture attached is the color most responsive to this issue (dark grey). Light
This is caused by one of two things; a bad LED grouping (most common cause) either because the LEDs are bad or the power distributor fuse is blown and the group isn't getting power from the power supply unit. Or two: bad pixel group. But I'd check your backlight power supply for bad connections, blown fuses, or check your led groups for bad leds.

Testimonial: "I have already replaced T-con board. here is what happens. initial tv had blank screen , with audio. and back light on. so I ordered T-con board and replaced it but now with new T-con board connected backlight is flickering like a strobe light. and I have tried with 2 different lvds cables. same result of flickering."
SOURCE: I have the oCosmo CE4001. No picture. Just audio. No backlights. I can see a picture when I hold a flashlight up to the screen. Is this the LED driver gone bad? Is that part of the main power supply?
Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
