It may have damaged one of the diode banks that run through the screen so your best option would be to have qualified repairman assess tv.
Thank you. I was under the impression that it could be the T-con or mainboard. Is there a way to add pictures in here?

That's really odd that a power outage did that. I would try unplugging the TV, hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then leave it unplugged for an hour and come back and try it again, that will for sure reset everything by removing power from it. If that doesn't have any effect then its possible the mainboard got damaged by a surge.
Thank you !The refrigerator also died. It was after a bad storm.

What you are sseing is a convergence problem within the light engine of the set. This is not repairable in teh field other than replacing the light engine part. Since this unit is less than one year old, it should be covered under warranty. From the looks of it, one of the LCD panels has shifted internally. Call for warranty service and indicate that the light engine has a problem. With luck, the service company will show up with the part in hand. Replacement should not take more than an hour or so.

SOURCE: Magnavox Color TV Model #27MT3305/17
The problem I was having was that the vertical deflection was
collapsing on itself from the top. I'm a tech and I am visiting web
sites who experience similar problems with the Magnavox 20 MT4405 in
hopes of saving them time and money."Starsong" has the right answer.
Replace electrolytic capacitor #2465. It is a
10 microfarad electrolytic capacitor rated at 160 volts. Although the
existing capacitor appeared good,in circuit and out, the
charge-discharge time was flat as compared with a new capacitor. Plus,
when the capacitor is in circuit with full voltage applied, the
capacitor leaks too much. The cost of the capacitor should be under $2.
It should take under a half an hour to replace. Be certain to let your
set rest, unplugged, for at least a half hour before attempting to
replace this capacitor. There are high voltage present around the crt
even after the set is turned off. The high voltages can cause serious
bodily harm. I would suggest a tech discharge the anode on the crt with
a high voltage probe passing through a volt meter and running to
ground. You will need a soldering iron, solder ******, solder, and I
like to use a little flux for good adhesion of component to board.
