SOURCE: Green box keeps popping up in upper right corner

You should be watching your dvd's on an input and not on tv analog 3. Every time the tv "senses" a signal change in the audio that screen will pop up. Connect the DVD player to the tv by using either the red, white and yellow (composite) connections or using the green, blue, red, white and red (component). Once you are on an actual input that box will stop popping up.

SOURCE: The screen shows ''Weak Signal'' and no picture.

Mine did the same thing once. I think all I did was hit the setup on the remote, and let it run back through all the channels and then it worked just fine.

I hope this works for you.

Esa tv digital to analog

Hi.I assume you can watch some channels, using your indoor digital antenna. As far as I know, you need an intermediate "box", or interface between the cable TV coming in, and the decoder. This has to be installed by the cable company. Between the decoder and the interface, there are two connections. One signal connection and one UTP wire connection for communication between both units. At least, that's how it works in Belgium and most other countries.

Jason478. I would be surprised you are picking up the signal from the Spot beam which Sky Pacific uses. I do not believe even the spill is reaching Hawaii. Best to get a refund of your money as you will definitely loose the signal when the replacement satellite kicks in on Dec 2011. Be careful of the Sales people in Sky Pacific. http://www.intelsat.com/flash/coverage-maps/sat_foot.html?sat=IS-701%20at%20180%BA%20E&display=map&spot=0

My tv is plug into the cable box and wont pick up any channels when i auto program???

Do you subscribe to cable television? If you do, you will need a cable box to decode the signal, otherwise unless your local provider offers a free to air service, your TV will not be able to decode the cable signal. It is important to know wether you are connecting your TV to a cable socket, or aerial or satellite, as these are all very different signals which your TV may not decode.

I recently changed from Cable to Direct Tv now when I change channels the screen goes blank for 15-30 seconds before the actual show begins. the picture is fine but there is a delay when changing channels

When you switched from cable to Direct TV you went from a direct connection to having a box in the middle. The box is required to to decode the signal. There is nothing wrong with the tv, you just may not have the best signal.

I have an Olevia 23t lct hd tv. I am plugged in

you said you are using composite cables..? that means you have some kind of cable box ? if you want to get HD channels you have to use a HD box that is supplied by the cable company.. the HD cable box then has to connect to the tv with component cables (green, blue, red cables) or HDMI cable.. to send the HD signal to the television.

Cannot find freeview/digital on our new TV

You can only get the freeview / digital channels through cable by subscribing to a package which includes them. They will then supply the necessary decoder to get the channels. Otherwise you will need a digital aerial and a freeview box if you tv is not dtv ready.
