Question about Panasonic Look Video Cassette Recorder Ag-7750 Look

Open Question

Hi, I have a problem with Panasonic AG-7750: He thinks there's a casette inserted, etc... :-/

A moment after turning on the device, he pull-in empty carriage, but then stops by a "pin" in the plastic "chasm" trajectory (on right side). When "pin" is pushed by hand, he "full-load" carriage and loads "" tape "". In addition, there is a small force of loading motor - I must help him with the hand while spinning (he stops otherwise). The left carrier is constantly rotating (grind casette), after insert casette he turns at dangerous speed to the end of tape. (some tape was broken by extreme impact at end). When an empty carriage is inserted, the "S-VHS" indicator will lights up. In general, errors such as E-3 and E-5, sometimes also error E-2. I will try to measure power for loading MOTOR from Power supply, because i seems th e tension is really small... The INFRA-LED has been verified by the camera - shines normally. Alternatively, I can supplement other symptoms in detail: He doesn't have a cassette door (I already bought it in that condition) :-( Thank you soo much! .- AFR

SOURCE: vhs tape won't load completely

I assume the cassette flap lifts fully, allowing the tape to go into the deck as this is a small lever mechanism. When the tape goes so far in, it activates a switch to start the loading motor this is usually a metal or plastic pin on the deck depending on the make of VCR (as you do not mention the model of your VCR, I can only give you an overall explination of a carriage mechanism). The pins at the side can incorporate a start sequence as well & will guide the deck into position. It looks like your machine has gone out of alignment & to solve the problem you would need to remove the cassette housing & re-align the pin at the side so that it follows the correct path, this can sometimes be a tricky & awkward thing to do as you can break parts of the deck if it is not aligned correctly. My advice would be to take it to a service repair centre.

Hello i have a jvc rv b 90 . Ive insert the casette wrong. Now i cant open the casette deck anymore.

Hello
Casette tape can be reeled to the capstan shaft and jammed. It is a tricky way to get it out. Only an experienced service technician can do this work. If you try to pull the casette hold tray out by force, it will get broken, and will turn irreparable. OK.

I'm unable to record with my AG-DVC7. When I turn on the camera , the LCD screen comes on and says "tape not inserted". But immediately I open the tape compartment, power will turn off from...

  • Like all the old video recorders there are mechanical parts inside what need cleaning in high priority the parts that mechanical activate switches for the intake in the little microcontactsswitches and the most important of all are mechanical mode-select-switches where timing is an hot issue
  • The entire process is timed often gears are used, but sometimes also strings that can slip by age and or dirt, cleaning and contact cleaner and look for bad soldering.
  • Also check that the lens motor for the aperture setting is working properly, because everything concerns mechanical settings when that failure then stops the device.
Also the zoom lens motor that are the first mechanical parts after the tape was lace in. all must exactly done in a special short timing.
