Where can I find the frequencies for BC60XLT for Chippewa county, Wisconsin. Thank you.

I can suggest some resources that you can use to find the frequencies you're looking for.
One option is to check the website of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office or the local government website for information on radio frequencies used by their departments. Another option is to visit the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and use their online database to search for radio frequencies assigned to Chippewa County.
You can also try searching for online forums or groups of radio enthusiasts or scanner hobbyists that may have information on frequencies used in the Chippewa County area.
It's important to note that you may need a license or permission to use certain frequencies, and it's always a good idea to check local regulations and guidelines before using any radio equipment.

On the Pro 48, I put in the xtal bank 460.175, but I get the wrong county Sherriff office in another county - not the county I'm in, how do I fix this?

your county is probably not using this frequency as the primary operating frequency anymore, and has switched to a trunked system. This is typical nation wide, as the trunked systems allow all the departments within one county to work together in emergencies without issues. If you go to the bottom of the page that I linked you will see that they use a trunked system. an old fashioned crystal based scanner wont work to receive these systems.

Need code for columbia co. ga 30907

1. Type in this URL address-http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm.

2. Click on your state

3. Find the county you live in. The S.A.M.E. code should be listed in the "SAME#" column. If you have two codes for your county, it probably means one of the codes transmits for different regions of your county. No problem, all you have to do is check your frequency station. Whatever frequency receives the best reception for your county (for example 162.450), put in the S.A.M.E code for the county that has that frequency.

Sorry if i am posting this more than once,,i am trying to figure this out,,can anyone please tell me where to find free police and fire frequencys at?

Hi again :o)
Log on to RadioReference.com, At the top you will see Database. Click on that and a map of the U.S will show up. Click on a state, and a list of county's will show up. Click on the county and you will see the frequencies.
Here also, is a website that has some links for police and fire frequencies for different states.

http://www.police-scanner.info/police-scanner-frequencies.htm

There are probably other sites as well.
Hope this helps... maybe I should get me one of those!

How do you clear all channels so i can put the channels that i want in it

There is no need to clear the scanner before reprogramming. When you enter a new frequency it will automatically overwrite the old frequency. To clear unwanted frequencies you can program "0.0" into any channel to clear it, or simply use the LOCKOUT feature to prevent the scanner from stopping on a channel.

I need to know my county code

To find the county cod, go here:

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm

This will provide you with a list of states. Click on your state, then look for your county on the left. In your case, that's Randolph County. You'll notice there are 4 listings for Randolph County, but the code is the same for all four locations within Randolph County: 037151. The difference is the frequency on which it's broadcast and the station doing the broadcasting. Just enter in the code as is and your radio will pick up the closest station and frequency to you.

And that's all there is to it!
