I have fisher paykel GW611 making a terrible squeaking sound when washing. It seems to be coming from under the white plastic fan like thing under the machine. Need help to get it off Thanks

What do you mean by the white plastic fan? Do you mean the round bowl part of the motor in the centre or the small fan on the drain pump on the front right corner of the bowl?

Korky anti-siphon. Tank water slowly drops, accompanied by a hissing sound. Then, after dropping about 1/2 inch, it refills. Wha?

either the fill valve is running and water is draining into the bowl via the overflow tube in the tank or the flapper is bad (or foreign matter) and it is allowing water to escape into the bowl slowly...causing the fill valve to run every few minutes or so. hope this helps but if you need anything else just text me here:)

Our GW611 has problems draining. Washes OK, but when it moves to the first rinse where it is spinning and taking on water at the same time it is not draining fast enough and goes out of balance. It...

Hi - it would seem to me as if the pump is ether overheating or you have a restriction with the drain hose or a combination of both, you need to remove the pump to check it out.

The pump units on F & P washers will pulsate thru out the spin cycles, if H2O left in the bowl then theres a problem with the drainage somewhere.

If theres no blockages found then the pump will need to be replaced...

make sure you are getting fuel to the carb and make sure the float and seat in the bowl move freely and all is clean and clear. this sounds very much like a fuel issue,, also - while you have the bowl off the carb -make sure you spray carb cleaner into the jet and seat area.

Fisher & Paykel GW611 Not filling with water

Hi just read your posting.Did you remove any wires to the control module which is located under the top panel when you replaced the bearings. Now did you put the cold inlet hose to the water valve marked with the letter C and the hot to H ?These letters are next to the valves.Have you got the Efficiency option button? Can you select a manual water level instead of just an auto fill?Have you tried to put the machine throe a spin cycle?Do you hear any water coming into the machine at all? Please with additional information to these questions and I am sure we can rectify this problem for you.

The pump is located under the machine,Look for the plastic fan. Also to remove it is easy.Unplug the the earth and power plugs,And there is a plastic lock that has to be held out while turning the pump anti clockwise and it will drop out.Hope this helps.

Leaking Dark Oil

Sounds like a combination of two issues.

1. In all likelyhood, the viscosity of the lubricant in the main transmission of your mixer has broken down and is now oil rather than the grease it once was.

2. The seal on the main transmission shaft is worn and the "oil" is leaking past it, resulting in drops of oil forming on the bolt head at the bottom of your planetary and dripping into your bowl.

Draining and replacing the lube and seal is a rather involved repair. To do it properly, complete transmission disassembly is required.

If it was my pizza business and there's just a drop of oil here and there ( 1-3 drops in the bottom of bowl in the morning ) I'd let it ride, keep wiping the oil away prior to mixing a batch and budget (apprx $500-$600 ) for a proper repair as it becomes worse over time. Unfortunately, it won't get better.

I'll add.

It's been my experience that D300's and pizza dough don't play well together. Be certain to calculate the weight of all your ingredients and then consult the capacity chart found here. http://www.kroslakbakeryequipment.com/pdfz/HOBD300.pdf

Stay within the guidelines and you should be fine...however your batches will be rather small.

Hope this is of some use.
