I think it works on 24V DC. Or 12V step-up circuit is defective.

SOURCE: 1986 chevy S10 has no power (12v) at fuse box on

hello, check all fuses, and relays, make sure wires to ac is not broke or has been pinched, sometimes you can run hot wire from battery, to compressor, touch hot side of plug in on comp wire see if it will kick on, if so sounds like a short, if compressor dont kick on with hot wire run to it, tap the out side of comp clutch and see if it kicks on, these compressors will not kick on any way if they are low on freon, once freon is full it should work.

SOURCE: waeco cf 40 portable refrigerator runs continuely

This is not an uncommon problem and you're probably experiencing a voltage drop between the battery

Try tracing the wires from the 12 volts plug to the other end of the wires. You might find a broken conductor or a blown fuse in there.

I dont seem to have a power supply to my Waeco air con roof unit

Check breaker at main panel. Check breaker if applicable in disconne t on roof. If this is a pull out disconnect make sure it is installed the right side up. If no issues with high voltage you may have a blown fuse on the low voltage side. Turn power off at disconnect, open machine and look for a small, blade style, like one for a car, 5 amp fuse that may possibly be blown.

I have a waeco cf80. Works great on 12v but not on 110.

Check the 110v heater for continuity and any inline fuse hasn't blown.

How do I replace the Thermistor (thermostat) in a Waeco CF50 12v/240v refrigerator.

JUST REMOVE THE THERMISTOR AND IF IT HAS A PLASTIC COVERING REMOVE IT, THEN PULL OFF OR OUT THERMISTOR, U WILL HAVE TO CUT IT BUT BE SURE TO LEAVE AS MUCH WIRE AS POSSIBLE LEFT TO SPLICE ONTO AND ATTACHE NEW THERMISTOR TO MOST TECHS WILL ADVISE TO USE HI TEMP SEALANT TO COAT THE CONNECTION AFTERWARDS.
