Factory radios are connected to the Body Control Module computer and are monitored and run by it. Things like warning chimes and indicator clickers are instigated from the BCM and sent via the audio system. You replace the radio with something the BCM doesn't understand and funny things happen. An auto-electrician or a radio / alarm outlet might be able to reprogram the BCM to ignore the new audio device.
Put the old radio back in and it will be fine.

Maybe is too late, but i wrote here what I found about LITEON PA1181-08 adapter.
First flip the adapter and remove those 4 round rubber where you will find 4 screw's. Or take a look here => http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/46-33144-7053/LITE-ON-PA-1181-08-AC-Adapter-Laptop.html for pinout of the unusual 4 DIN connector.
Hope you will find this usefull.

Yes it will fit, you will have to buy a seperate mounting kit for the new radio though.
