WRX735SDBM00 ice maker is not working. Do you have a video of how to remove it for repairs/replacements? I can't even see the screws.

There is a float in the icemaker which controls water height. I'm going to bet the float is jammed or the switch it controls is bad.

I recently had trouble with both my water dispenser and my ice maker. I determined that my filter was clogged, so I replaced it. That fixed the water dispenser but the ice maker still wasn't working. I investigated further and found that the water inlet tube was frozen solid. Aparently, when the filter was clogged the water came in so slowly that it froze before it got to the icetray. I tried pouring hot water over the inlet tube to melt it and it mostly worked, but there was still some ice in the tube further back where I couldn't reach. Finally I defrosted the freezer so all the ice could melt and turned it back on and now it works great! Hope this might help.

SOURCE: ice maker not working

Check the following:

* Water supply to the fridge

* Open the freezer compartment and check to see if the water inlet fitting is frozen. It can be thawed out with a hair dryer....carefully

* If not the above, check the water valve, usually located on the lower back of the unit behind a cover. It may be malfunctioning or is plugged with debris

* Make sure the stop arm of the ice maker (inside the freezer) isn't stuck in the up position

The ice maker has two 1/4 inch sheetmetal screws holding against the wall upper left and one underneath the maker. Remove these and it should come out

2Find the fill tube.This isawhiterubber-like hose that delivers water to the ice maker. Pull down the small metal clip off the housing that holds the fill tube (though not all ice makers have this clip).

3Warm the hoseand surrounding mechanism. To do this, you can train a hair dryer on the ice maker to melt any ice blocking the mechanism. But be very careful (sop up any dripping water with a rag) as electricity and water can present a serious risk of electrical shock. Also, be careful not to melt the plastic parts.

4If you don't want to use a hair dryer,you can soak the supply tubing with hot water, using a turkeybasterand catching the overflow in the empty ice maker bin. In some cases, it may be easier to remove the ice maker than to thaw out the fill tube.

On heat release ice makers You will want to check the heating element within the ice maker for continuity and a visual inspection of the board and conductors for burns and seizing,charedmarks.

The arm pin has a spring under the mounting plate. Reduce the tension on the spring by moving the shutoff arm into the "on" position, down, against the ice maker.

The reading should be in the range of 60 to 90 ohms. HOW TO REMOVE ICE MAKER MODEL #WRX735SDBM00

There are usually two or three 1/4" hex head screws that attach the ice maker to the side wall. On some newer models, there is only one retaining screw on the bottom side, then the whole unit is slid upwards and out. There is also an electrical plug that must be disconnected. Make sure refrigerator is unplugged!

Ice maker not making ice in whirlpool model #wrx735sdbm00

Check the Ice Maker itself (not the bowl). Is there ice cubes stuck in there? If so, that means that the ice is stuck and the the "pusher" doesn't have enough force to drop them into the bowl.

try this site...input your model # and look for the ice door parts. Maybe a bad spring. They are also very helpful with their chat and phone assist., video repair etc. Make sure to get the model # though.

Sub zero 532 ice maker

When my repair tech came out, he showed me that the fill tube sometimes retracts toward the rear of the freezer. He simply pulled it forward with a pair of needle nose pliers until it rested in the delivery reservoir. This placement allows the detector to know when the tray is full and shut off; thus not overfilling the freezing tray and/or splashing additional water onto the freezer wall and into the ice cube drawer.
