Since you have battery operated, electronic ignition, the AAA Battery inside the push button ignitor may have gotten lodged in the return spring, inside the battery holder. Remove the Ignitor Cap and remove the battery. Actually, if the batter is lodged in the spring, when you remove the cap, the battery will probably be stuck in it. Also, depending on how old the battery is, it may have leaked inside the holder and corroded the spring and the contacts. If so, try cleaning (removing the corrosion with a Q-Tip Soaked in vinegar. Once it's all removed, a light coating of WD40 will help prevent further corrosion..
