I have a Toshiba tw65 x81, in the last 2 months I've started to get digital interference on all channels and even when the cable box is completely disconnected. The interference is on all functions including the menus. Have the unit connected to a monster power HTS 1000 power strip. Any ideas?

Hi Roy, I can not find the service manual for this TV,
Is it an overhead TV? if so, it would seem that it is out of alignment of the LCD cells
Try disconnecting all the TV's devices and see if the same happens when you put the menu?
It does not seem, a problem of interference, so it is observed in the photo
I await your comment
Greetings Franco Dosil

SOURCE: NO VIDEO

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.

SOURCE: TV not finding Digital Channels from Cable Box

We have Comcast and we plugged the cable straight into our Bravia, searched for Digital Channels and it found 131. We actually get all the HD channels that we had using the box, plus a few more. It's worth a try.

Magnavox tv has intermittent pixelation and snow breaking through on picture on all channels. Have had cable service out twice to replace digital DVR box but still a problem. Brand new HDMI cable too.

If your TV is connected to the cable box with only an HDMI cable, the problem should either the cable company equipment or outside interference. A bad HDMI cable with cause intermittent or continuous complete loss of picture. Try plugging the HDMI cable from the cable box into a different TV (if you can borrow one) then you can prove if the problem is with the TV or the cable equipment. Maybe a neighbor has a ham radio that is causing interference? (They will have a tall antenna at there house, so easy to see.)

Can;t record on VCR since Comcast went Digital

I have Dish Network and a DVR and I do not know what I would do without it. I can record 2 shows at once and watch to 2 recorded programs while recording two shows. But getting to your problem... It sounds like the vcr cannot process the digital signal. You could try hooking up the vcr to the rca inputs from the cable box but you will only be able to record whatever channel the cable box is on. Any way you hook them up the programming of the vcr to change channels at different times for different programs probably won't work now. It sounds like Direct TV with two DVRs will solve your recording needs.

Loss of VCR Channels due to Digital Switchover

Comcast is full of it.

If you have a cable box, plug the box directly into the cable feed, then place the VCR inline between the cable and the TV. Leave the VCR on Channel 3 or 4 and use the box to select the channel. You could also use the video and audio out lines from the box and run them to the VCR.

Cable Tv Interference

Sounds like the cable signal getting to that TV is just not strong enough.  This could be due to the number of connection and splitters leading to it.  Set it up with a coaxial cable that connects as close to the incoming cable as possible and not split it along the way.

No audio on one channel

I've seen simmilar problems with the toshiba cable card compatability.. however we could never solve (replacing all parts, etc). It is either the tuner of the television malfunctioning at a very specific frequency, a very specific interference, or a programming/software issue between toshiba and cable provider. The first is repairable with parts, the second two are not good. With either you'd have to keep complaining to the manufacturer and cable company, both of which will likely get you now where. They make more $ on that cable box..

Zoom aDSL modem/wireless router seen but not connecting

Here are a couple of ideas to look at first, assuming you haven't tried them already:

1) Does moving the router help? Sometimes a new DECT phone or a microwave, or even a piece of equipment at a neighbour's house, can interfere with the signal.

2) Does changing the channel on your router help at all? If there are many other networks using the same channel, this might block your own signal.
3) If this does not make any difference, it might be worth checking your security settings.
