Are you want to deactivate it or not ?
For activate/deactivate Press (FN +F3) Button at a time .for further problem Comment on.
Besides hot key FN+F3 (works only if drivers are all good, and from DELL.com and many a PC are not)
ask at dell.com why not?
no OS stated, windows 10?
I have answered this many times here. (generic windows )
there are these ways,
1: in device manger click the PAD name and right click disable.
omg so easy , no? make it dead, but related pad button go dead with it but my guess is your using a mouse right,? UNSTATED!
2: pull the cable inside to it. pad cable,. ribbon.
3: if lucky the newer DRIVER for it has been upgraded,
and has this:
A: disable the pad. (or other things there)
B: (mine) shows, if USB mouse used, disable this pad.(best)
4: or cut up a milk carton, and make pad square and stick it down with double sided tape,
5: fill the pad pit with liquid epoxy, so it is DEAD.
6: remove the pad and replace it with dummy pad home made from plastic scraps. or buy a dead pad off fleabay? cute no?
did I get them all.? (all but violent attacks to the pad) as in punish it.
ask here, for help, this is real dell, no fact virus sites that are posted at fixya endlessly.
the real Dell is here, go there.

SOURCE: must disable touchpad
Is the problem being caused by your palm hitting the surface of the touchpad? This happens with many people. There is a setting for the touchpad which will let you set how sensitive the touchpad is, thereby eliminating your problem.
SOURCE: where can I find a x64 touchpad driver for Dell
@selra:
First, an educated guess: considering that the Inspiron 1525 series debuted in the first quarter of 2008, one can assume that the chipset/motherboard are the same, which makes 'em all about a year and-a-half old, regardless of when the laptop was in fact purchased.
Next: how could s/he have "bought" it for themselves, considering the OS has not been released for sale to the public yet? Most likely, it was one of the many "free-for-download" betas or release candidates that have been kicking around the web since late January 2009.
And what difference does it make if s/he installed it themselves?
The question was: do any 64-bit drivers exist for this laptop and its (internal) peripherals?
@dlema65:
In my (admittedly anorexic) scanning of the internet and Dell's website...no. I could not find any 64-bit drivers. :(

SOURCE: have a dell inspiron 1545 how do i access
You should have access in the control panel and a button there to put the icon back onto the task-bar.
SOURCE: dell inspiron 1545 and the touchpad
a dirty pad will malfunction. FORTUNATELY, the 1545 usually has a good warranty, so before you wait any longer, get Dell on the phone and get it fixed. You will get it back in 10 days, like new.
