Most likely the screen driver has failed, thay atached to the screen and not replable! ps I don't fix flat screens under 46'' any more because of price.
Do you always shut down and unplug the laptop when not in use? Has it been cleaned recently? Fan, Vents, heatsink? Has there been ANY damage? It sounds like your Graphics Adapter. screen, Inverter, is going? Have to say exactly. Does the Laptop Overheat?
If the monitor is connected to a DVI output on your computer try to connect it to the VGA to see if it's an issue with the input or if the monitor is shot. It sounds like your monitor just crapped out.
Most likely issue here is the drive is not formated. i am assuming it is a new one.
right click on "my computer"
select "manage"
from the bar on the left select "disk management" under the "storage" tab
check to make sure your hard drive is listed therein the section to the right.
if it is right click on it and select format
select NTFS and I would suggest check the "quick format" box
(otherwise it'll take about a million years to finish)
hit okay
once it is done your hard drive should be ready to go! windows should now list in under my computer and it will act like normal.
If the screen is halved in a horizontal fashion meaning that the screen only goes up half way this is an indication of a vertical deflection problem, quite possibly the vertical coupling capacitor or a problem with the vertical drive signal. If the TV is halvedvertically meaning the either the left or right side of the TV is black while the other has picture, this could mean a problem with the damper diode, the Horizontal output Transistor, or the horizontal drive signal.
In either case I would suggest doing a ring test on the Yoke Transformer, The IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer).
Also check the Vertical coupling capacitor, and the horizontal drive transformer (Ring test this).
You noticed that I included the Vertical and Horizontal sections? This is because you did not mention which direction your screen was halved in.
If it is halved to to bottom check the vertical circuitry, If it is halved left to right check the horizontal circuitry. For either one do a ring test on the Yoke Transformer.
Mostly the blank lcd on 3250 dont need to change lcd.but the problem usually from emif IC(IC display).if you have an experience in phone hardware try to change it.But if you don't,take to service center because change IC display more cheaper than change lcd. so chek it up first.
According to your all information its problem with your display please repair your display or if your phone in warranty then rush to nokia service center and take a new display for it
