My 2014 XC60 has never had a infotainment issue. Yesterday my radio and media stopped working. Screen frozen with the AM/FM screen

I can turn the radio off but doesn't come back on. After driving for 15 mins, the screen popped but just displays the AM/FM options only. nothing else works

SOURCE: 1999 Jaguar XK8 radio problem

You should reboot the system, sometimes these cars hicup so to speak.
Disconnect the battery, both sides, then with it still disconnected turn the key to crank 3-4 times (with the battery disconnected, this just discharges all the ecu's and clears any held memorys)
Reconnect the battery (pos + first)
After that you need to relearn the windows, with the key on or the car running send the windows all the way up, then one at a time, hold the button to bring 1 down and continue to hold for 5 seconds once it is all the way down, do the same for the up position, repeat on the other side and you should be good to go.

The TV menu options keep popping up aprox. 15 mins after turning the TV on.

Do a reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. I have a 2006 street guide and on the main screen their is no selection for Aux to use my iPod . There use to be a option but now it is not displaying

Is there a plug in the connector.
If nothing is plugged in, there will not be an aux option.

If something is plugged in, your auto-detect function is defective.

Radio locked no code

Unlocking the Delco Radio Theft-Deterrent Feature After a Power Loss

If you know the code that was used to lock the radio then use the following instructions from the owner's manual to unlock the radio.
Quote:
Enter your secret code as follows; pause no more than 15 seconds between steps:
1. Turn the ignition on. LOC will appear on the display.
2. Press MIN and 000 will appear on the display.
3. Press MIN again until the last two digits agree with your code.
4. Press HR until the first one or two digits agree with your code.
5. Press AM-FM after you have confirmed that the code matches your secret code. The display will show SEC, indicating the radio is now operable and secure.

If you enter the wrong code eight times, INOP will appear on the display. You will have to wait an hour with the ignition on before you can try again. When you try again, you will only have three more chances (eight tries per chance) to enter the correct code before INOP appears.
If you don't know the code that was used to lock the radio then you will have to use the dealer's unlock procedure as follows. The dealer code changes over time - the one listed is current as of this posting. If it doesn't work try 08359 or search the forum for messages with a more recent code.
Quote:
1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first three digits of the display code are displayed.
2. Write the numbers down.
3. Press the AM-FM button, write down the next three numbers.
4. Call 1-800-537-5140. When asked, enter dealer code 202108, press the * button, and enter the six digit code from the radio. You will get an unlock code, write it down.
5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first two numbers, press the MIN button and set the next two numbers, then press the AM-FM button. The display will show SEC, indicating the radio is now operable and secure.

To remove the code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on the radio face indicating the code is now out of the radio."

Gateway FHD2400 24inch monitor HELP PLEASE!

well it's not the computer going to sleep but the monitor is (sort of) because your computer is telling to. it has to do with the Power Options (title dependent on OS - this is what it's called in Vista)

Go to Control Panel>>Power Options - on the left hand column click Choose when to turn off the display - I'm guessing you are set to 15 or 20 minutes for the Turn off the display dropdown - change it to something longer to satisfy your needs (Never is an option).

If you're not running Vista write back - it's slightly different but similar path.

Cheers.
