My Xbox 360 keeps shutting off and sometimes back on by itself

take the faceplate off then open and close it,
also make sure there is nothing blocking the door and there are no other discs in the tray.

try going into your settings and family prefrences and if tht doesnt work tht means your game is scratched

first do you have a "short" in the Controller, try another one and see if it does, also try cleaning the game disk with something like "windex", also try "checking any add on memory, you could have a "Glitch", in either of these, but try them one by one, start with the easy ones first, let me know if I can be of more help, also try disabling the the "vibration", and see if it still does it, god bless and happy 4th

sounds like the start of the blinking green light and the tray wont eject, if you decided to get into it try pulling out both leads to the disc drive check them for damage make them nice an straight blow sockets where they sit and replace them true.if they are damaged replace them, NOTE opening your 360 voids the warranty

take the back off the tv follow the power cord it will connect to an electrical board. Look at the board carefully you will find a few capacitors look at the top of the caps they should all appear flat if you see any that are bulged or expanded then more then likely that is your problem. I just had the exact same problem with my 50 inch plasma and I fixed it. I removed the back of the tv located two swollen caps unsolder them from the board tested them with a meter and confirmed that the larger 50volt 1500 uf 105deg was indeed burnt and the smaller swollen one 35v 1500uf was still good but changed it anyhow just because it looked like it didnt have much life left.
