Question about Photography
I have a SPDPF70E digital picture frame. Powers on, but not wanting to recognize any memory card I put in it. I put in an 8G and 4G card. I'm wondering if maybe I should try a 2GB, because the frame is from 2007. Maybe the size is just too large for it to recognize?
You can try a smaller card, but read the reviews here
The manual has no information on card size

Reformat the card from the camera. You didn't specify camera model but every digital camera has a menu to format media.
If you don't succeed try to connect your camera to the computer and read the photos.
If that doesn't succeed either take your camera to service.

Here`s a tip i found for you...
1. Connect the frame to your PC using the supplied USB connector. Navigate to the \DCIM\100Frame directory and delete all the Phillips advertising pictures there.
2. Create a directory on your PC and put copies of all the pictures you want to display there.
3. Download the free picture resizer utility from Microsoft at:
(Look for Image Resizer in the right column). After installing it, "Select All" pictures in the directory you created, then right click and select "Resize Pictures" from the context menu. Choose the 640x400 radio button. Sort by size and copy all the small ones into the "\DCIM\100Frame" directory on the frame drive (Called Removable Disk on my PC).

The primary software is going to extract all the images, put only the images you want on the card, then insert into your picture photo frame.

I have encountered this same error on the frame I bought 2 years ago. I saved the pictures to a backup and then reformatted the frame - this didn't work - does anyone have any other solutions???
