try opening the door.leave it open.unplug the fridge for at least 5 minutes, no less, with the door still open.after that, plug it back in.wait for it to beep.then close the door. this would reset the door alarm, which beepes when the door isn't properly closed. also you should wait 24 hours between changing the temperature or it can mess up your fridge.!

Cradle and contacts are fine. Cradle circuit is nothing but a reed relay and few wires, relay closes on proximity to robot's body, therefore no voltage on contacts before robot is close to cradle. There is a thermistor inside of battery, and mine was bad. I removed it and now I am charging the battery from my bench power supply at about 220 ma current, overnight, and it works. Probably the solution is to get a new replacement battery, but the one with the thermistor inside (OEM), easily recognized by the third wire, and all should be fine, assuming that nothing else is wrong with charging circuit or power adapter (12v/1A) Hope this will give you some ideas of where to poke. Once successful, please post your solution.
if it is one long beep followed by 3 or 4 quick beeps then its faulty ram if you have two sticks of ram it maybe only one of them has become faulty and you could take one of them out but its not an expensive fix
Tops! It does work! I specifically bought this LG to replace an old LG which was easy to set. The open tray is critical as is waiting about a second between the three '0' key pushes. You will get the region code test screen on the TV.
Re-cap:
1. Open DVD tray
2. Press the '0' key on the remote three times, waiting about one second between key presses. The 'Region Test' screen will appear on the TV. If you don't get this screen, then power off/power on again and start over.
3. If the Region Test screen appears, enter '0' for all-regions.
4. Press pause to save and exit.
