Hello Seth, for what you say, it is very feasible that your JBL, have humidity, enough to make it light again
Tip, apply hot air, with a hair dryer, at the lowest speed and at least 50 centimeters away, for two or three sessions of 30 seconds
Then, let it ventilate and test later, if the proper functioning is reestablished
I hope you solve the problem

SOURCE: Program Selector Knob keeps turning
when the knob keeps turning, it is giving you a code by the blinking red light. count the blinks. i have a manual to explain what the codes mean and how to test the parts
SOURCE: Lap top was submerged in water while turned on.
It is very possible since the hard drive is sealed. Try to place the laptop in a way that the water can come out, don't plug-in or turn it on, eject the battery and get it to the technician you desired as sooner as possible.
In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.
Thanks and regards

SOURCE: JBL flip only plays while connecting to the mains
Seems the battery has gone bad prematurely. Charging circuits have to be good since the unit works fine off the adapter plugged into the mains.

Unfortunately it sounds like one of two things, both rude... one, the amplifier attached to the speaker exceeds the output capacity of the speaker "cone", or alternatively, the amplifier distorts the output signal when near its peak amplitude... Either way, buy quality gear and you wont have this issue. Real and true, you do get what you pay for... mostly...
