Try replacing your spark plug. If that fails then go to the engine, cheak your carb, lines, and gas. cheak for gum in the engine/carb. If gummed then get carb cleaner and spray twice, wait 1 hour then try again. If my solution fails then you might need expert help. Good Luck!

all bearings that run belts & pullies should have grease zert fittings to lube the bearings with a grease gun check if there is fittings then use a small needle or punch to push down on ball on top of zerts to make sure they are free to alow grease to enter grease them till grease comes out from under neath or the top of bearings

You are correct, this key does drive both. While I have never tried to remove the keway with out both pulley and lower sprocket you may be able to (my gut says no but anything is worth trying once) I'd position the keyway at the 12 o'clock postion and with a good pair of needle nose pliers see if the key will roll out as you pull up and away with it. If it will not you'll of course have to remove the front of the engine and pull the timing belt, if over 60K miles on belt go ahead and replace with new.
I hope this may have assited and good luck!

Hi,
Yes, you have a shear pin and that is probably the problem...
The shear pin often will not fall out and look like a normal piece but in fact be broken...
The shear pin usually is in the main shaft from the transmission to the auger drive...
Some are right on the auger its self...look around you will find it...
