My solution is a bit similar to Amnok,

If you ARE far away from the router. I suggest you come closer to the router. So that you can connect to Wi-Fi Network easily and surf faster. If you want to, you can set the router with an extra antenna for extended range.

This error means you're not connected to an internet-enabled network. If you want to surf the internet, you'll need to connect to a wireless network; you do that by going into Settings, then Wi-Fi.

If the WiFi option is off, press it to turn it on and it'll scan for near by networks. Once you find one that is unprotected, or one to which you know the password, you can connect to it by pressing its name. Once you connect, if that network allows for internet access, you can surf.

If you don't have any wireless networks within range, you can always set one up yourself. You can do it either with a wireless router, which will give you a permanent access point you can use whenever you feel like, or using a laptop - but that's difficult, not permanent, and has a very short signal range (Though it's free if you already have a laptop with a wi-fi card).

My router is not sending the wi-fi signal, i already reset it more than 10x and unplugged it and unplugged my modem , restart or turn off my computer i did the whole run> ipconfig ****, still nothing...

Got any other "wireless" device that you can try, such an iPod Touch, to try to pickup a signal from your router?

Does your laptop have a switch or slider or FN-key-plus-some-Function-Key-1-thru-12 to disable/enable the laptop's wireless adapter?

If you take your laptop to another location with "free WiFi", such as MacDonalds or Starbucks, can you pickup their wireless network? If not, then the problem is _NOT_ your D-Link router.

If you use your desktop to connect to the web-server "inside" the router, does the wireless transmitter on the D-Link show as "disabled" or "enabled" ?

Ipod wi fi conection

Wi-Fi Functionality
  1. Connects over the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
  2. If no Wi-Fi networks you've used are available, iPod touch will scan for Wi-Fi networks and show a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and, if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show a lock icon (307189_1.jpg) next to them.
  3. Option to manually enter your Wi-Fi network name/SSID (if the Wi-Fi network is configured not to broadcast or be displayed to the public). If necessary, enter the password to join.
When iPod touch is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon (307189_2.jpg) in the status bar at the top of the screen shows connection strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection.
Wi-Fi Settings
  1. Turn Wi-Fi on or off.
Choose Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on or off.
  2. Set iPod touch to ask if you want to join a new Wi-Fi network.
When you are trying to access the Internet, by using Safari or YouTube for example, and you are not in range of a Wi-Fi network you have previously used, this option tells iPod touch to look for another network. iPod touch will display a list of all available Wi-Fi networks that you can choose from. Networks that require a password appear with a lock icon (307189_1.jpg).

If "Ask to Join Networks" is turned off, you must manually join a network to connect to the Internet when a previously used network is unavailable.

Choose Wi-Fi and turn "Ask to Join Networks" on or off. If you turn "Ask to Join Networks" off, you must join new networks manually.
  3. Join a Wi-Fi network manually.
Choose Wi-Fi, wait a moment as iPod touch detects networks in range, then choose a network. If necessary, enter a password and tap Join. Networks that require a password appear with a lock icon.
  4. Make iPod touch forget a network, so that the device doesn't join it automatically. Choose Wi-Fi and tap the arrow (307189_3.jpg) next to a network you've joined before. Then tap "Forget this Network."
  5. Connect to a closed Wi-Fi network (an available Wi-Fi network that isn't shown in the list of scanned networks).
Choose Wi-Fi, then tap Other and enter the network name. If the network requires a password, choose Security, tap the type of security the network uses, and enter the password. You must already know the network name, password, and security type to connect to a closed network. Some Wi-Fi networks may require you to enter or adjust additional settings, such as a client ID or static IP address. Ask the network administrator which settings to use.
  6. Adjust settings to connect to a Wi-Fi network
Choose Wi-Fi, then tap the arrow (307189_3.jpg) next to a network.

Cannot connect to internet with itouch

Go into Preferances, go to Wi-Fi, touch the blue cycle next to the Wi-Fi router you're conected to. Scroll to the bottom of the page and touch "Renew Lease", touch "Renew Lease" in the pop up. This may or may not work the first time. Either way, power off your iTouch by holding the "Power button" then sliding the slider. Turn it back on, go back to Preferences/Wi-Fi... Renew Lease... Try to open Safari. If it doesn't work the first time, no worries, try it all again. This is the solution, but if your iTouch gets glitchy, it can take a few tries. The most I've ever seen was 3 complete tries... "Renew Lease, Full Restart (slide to power off), Renew Lease"... one. Repeat!
