There is a sensor that is under the harmonic balancer that needs to be replaced. That will solve your starting problem. This model year Impala is a bad year and should have had a lot of recalls. I got rid of mine due to the same issues. Your car eventually will stall in traffic and wont start. It may sit for days without starting then will start without any problems. Best advice: Get rid of it now!!!
